Abstract

TB paru merupakan penyakit yang masih terus menjadi permasalahan dunia karena jumlah
kasus yang terus bertambah dan angka kematian yang tinggi. Penyakit TB paru banyak
membawa dampak besar bagi kehidupan penderitanya, baik itu dari dampak fisik, ekonomi,
maupun sosial. Sehingga mengakibatkan penderita TB paru mengalami gangguan psikis
berupa stres. Tujuan dari penelitian ini yaitu untuk mendeskripsikan gambaran tingkat stres pada penderita TB paru. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif kuantitatif dengan
pendekatan analisis univariat. Populasi penelitian yaitu sebanyak 55 penderita TB paru di
Wilayah Kerja Puskesmas Cimalaka. Sampel ditetapkan dengan metode total sampling.
Adapun instrumen pengumpulan data yang digunakan peneliti berupa kuesioner Kessler
Psychological Distress Scale (K10) yang sudah teruji validitas dan reliabilitas. Hasil
penelitian menunjukkan 16 responden (29,1%) tidak stres. Sebagian besar penderita
TB paru, yaitu sebanyak 70,9% mengalami stres, dengan diantaranya 27 responden
(49,1%) berada di tingkat stres ringan, sedangkan 10 responden (18,2%) berada di
tingkat stres sedang, dan minoritas dengan 2 responden (3,6%) berada di tingkat
stres berat. Maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa sebagian besar penderita TB paru
berada pada tingkat stres ringan.

Pulmonary TB is a disease that continues to be a global problem because the number of
cases continues to grow and the death rate is high. Pulmonary TB disease has many major
impacts on the lives of sufferers, both in terms of physical, economic, and social impacts.
So that it causes pulmonary TB sufferers to experience psychological disorders in the form
of stress. The purpose of this study is to describe the level of stress in patients with pulmonary TB. This research is a quantitative descriptive study with a univariate analysis
approach. The study population consisted of 55 pulmonary TB patients in the working
area of the Cimalaka Public Health Center. The sample is determined by the total sampling
method. The data collection instrument that will be used by the researcher is the Kessler Psychological Distress Scale (K-10) questionnaire, which has been tested for validity and
reliability. Results of the research show 16 respondents (29,10%) are not stressed. Most
sufferers of pulmonart TB, namely as many as 70,9% experienced stress, with 27 of them
being respondents (49,1%) at a mild stress level, while 10 respondents 9 (18,20%) were at
a moderate stress level, and a minority of 2 respondents (3,6%) ar a heavy stress level. So
it can be concluded that the majority of patients with pulmonary TB are at a low stress
level.
