Abstract

ABSTRAK Organisasi merupakan wadah untuk mengembangkan potensi diri dan bakat mahasiswa. Adapun dampak positif dan negatif dalam mengikuti organisasi antara lain: memiliki pengalaman yang lebih banyak serta sering overthingking dalam kegiatan, pola tidur terganggu. Dampak yang ditimbulkan burnout mengakibatkan perubahan kinerja mahasiswa dalam organisasi, mudah tersinggung, beban kerja banyak serta tuntutan yang mengakibatkan burnout. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui gambaran burnout pada mahasiswa aktif berorganisasi. Jenis penelitian menggunakan penelitian deskritif kuantitatif. Penelitian di lakukan pada mahasiswa aktif berorganisasi di kampus UPI Sumedang. Jumlah populasi 440 orang, dengan teknik pengambilan sample menggunakan cluster random sampling yang berjumlah 210 orang. Pengumpulan data mengguakan instrument MBI-SS untuk mengukur burnout, nilai uji validitas dan reliabilitas rentang nilai pailing rendah 0,167 dan nilai tertinggi 0,893. Nilai reliabilitasnya 0,75. Hasil penelitian menunjukan mayoritas 58,1% hampir sebagian besar responden mengalami burnout dengan kategori sedang. Kesimpulannya mahasiswa berorganisasi dapat mempengaruhi terjadinya burnout yang sering terjadi di kalangan masyarakat. Pada peneliti selanjutnya dapat menggunakan metode yang berbeda agar menghasilkan penelitian yang heterogeny serta memiliki karakteristik yang berbeda. Kata Kunci: Burnout, Mahasiswa organisasi ABSTRACT The organization is a place to develop self-potential and student talents. The positive and negative impacts of joining organizations include: having more experience and often overthinking in activities, disrupted sleep patterns. The impact caused by burnout results in changes in student performance in organizations, irritability, a lot of workload and demands that result in burnout. The purpose of this research is to find out the description of burnout in students who are active in organizations. This type of research uses quantitative descriptive research. The research was conducted on students who were active in organizations on the Sumedang UPI campus. The total population is 440 people, with the sampling technique using cluster random sampling, totaling 210 people. Data collection used the MBI-SS instrument to measure burnout, the validity and reliability test values ranged from the lowest value to 0.167 and the highest value to 0.893. The reliability value is 0.75. The results showed that the majority, 58.1%, most of the respondents experienced burnout in the moderate category. In conclusion, student organizations can influence the occurrence of burnout which often occurs among the community. In future researchers can use different methods in order to produce research that is heterogeneous and has different characteristics. Keywords: Burnout, Student Organization
