Abstract
Dalam kontek pengembangan potensi siswa secara optimal, bimbingan pribadi sosial memiliki fungsi dan peranana yang sangat penting. Bimbingan pribadi sosial tujuan utamanya meningkatnya kemampuan penyesuaian sosial siswa secara komprehensif dan terintegrasi, sehingga berdampak positif terhadap perkembangan aspek lainnya, (perkembangan belajar dan karir siswa). Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menunjukkan proses dan hasil intervensi bimbingan pribadi sosial melalui strenghts based advising yang secara empirik dapat mengembangkan penyesuaian sosial siswa SMA di Kabupaten Kuningan. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan mixed method dengan desain explanatory sequential mixed methods. Subjek penelitian adalah siswa kelas XI di SMAN 1 Cilimus Kabupaten Kuningan berjumlah 396 orang. Untuk mengetahui keberhasilan intervensi, dilakukan prosedur quasi eksperimen dengan melibatkan partisipan siswa sebanyak 12 orang pada kelompok eksperimen dan 12 orang dalam kelompok kontrol. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa bimbingan pribadi sosial melalui strenghts based advising teruji secara empirik dapat mengembangkan penyesuaian sosial siswa SMA di Kabupaten Kuningan. Dengan demikian bimbingan pribadi sosial melalui strenghts based advising dapat digunakan oleh guru BK atau Konselor dalam upaya pengembangan penyesuaian sosial siswa SMA di Kabupaten Kuningan. In the context of optimal development of student potential, social personal guidance has a very important function and role. The main objective of social personal guidance the main objective is to increase the ability of students' social adjustment in a comprehensive and integrated manner, so that it has a positive impact on the development of other aspects, (learning development and student career). The purpose of this study is to show the process and results of social personal guidance of interventions through strenghts based advising can empirically develop social adjustments for high school students in Kuningan Regency. This study used a mixed method approach with an explanatory sequential mixed methods design. The subjects of the study were class XI students at SMAN 1 Cilimus, Kuningan Regency, totaling 396 students. To determine the success of the intervention, a quasi-experimental procedure was carried out involving 12 student participants in the experimental group and 12 people in the control group. The results of this study show that the social personal guidance through empirically tested strenghts based advising can develop social adjustment for high school students in Kuningan Regency. Thus the social personal guidance through strenghts based advising can be used by BK teachers or counselors in efforts to develop social adjustment of high school students in Kuningan Regency.
