Abstract

ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui Hasil Belajar Siswa Melalui Metode Eksperimen Pembelajaran IPA Terhadap Materi Gaya Magnet di Sekolah Dasar. Jenis metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penilitian ini yaitu jenis metode Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) dengan pendekatan campuran (mixed method) yaitu menggabungkan pendekatan kualitatif dan pendakatan kuantitatif. Penelitian ini dilakukan selama 2 siklus. Dari 2 siklus tersebut masing-masing siklus terdiri dari 4 tahap yaitu perencanaan, pelaksanaan, pengamatan (observasi), dan refleksi. Pada siklus I terdiri 3 pertemuan (tindakan) sedangkan siklus II terdiri 2 tindakan (pertemuan). Subyek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas IV sebanyak 20 orang siswa dengan 11 siswa laki-laki dan 9 siswa perempuan. Adapun instrumen yang digunakan berupa tes dan observasi. Nilai rata-rata IPA kelas IV adalah 70. Nilai rata-rata pra-siklus sebesar 52% dengan hasil tertinggi 70 dan hasil terendah adalah 30. Siklus I sebesar 62,5% dengan hasil tertinggi adalah 80 dan nilai terendah diperoleh 40. Siswa yang sudah mencapai KKM hanya terdapat 4 siswa dan siswa yang lainnya masih di bawah rata-rata. Sedangkan nilai rata-rata pada siklus II sebesar 7,4%. Siswa yang mendapatkan nilai mencapai KKM sebanyak 14 siswa dengan hasil tertinggi 100 dan nilai terendah 50. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian tersebut maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa melalui metode eksperimen pembelajaran IPA terhadap materi gaya magnet di Sekolah Dasar dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar. The type of research method used in this research is the Classroom Action Research (CAR) method with a qualitative (description) and quantitative approach. This research was conducted for 2 cycles. Of the 2 cycles, each cycle consists of 4 stages, namely planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. Cycle I consisted of 3 meetings (actions) while cycle II consisted of 2 actions (meetings). The subjects of this study were 20 grade IV students with 11 male students and 9 female students. The instruments used were tests and observations. The average value of grade IV science is 70. The pre-cycle average score is 52% with the highest result being 70 and the lowest result being 30. The first cycle is 62,5% with the highest result being 80 and the lowest score being 40. Students who After reaching the KKM, there were only 4 students and the other students were still below average. While the average value in cycle II was 7,4%. There were 14 students who scored KKM with the highest score of 100 and the lowest score of 50. Based on the results of this study, it can be concluded that through the experimental method of learning science on magnetic force material in elementary schools can improve learning outcomes.
