Abstract

Semua mahluk hidup di dunia ini membutuhkan apa yang disebut dengan air. Tanpa air, tidak akan ada kehidupan di bumi ini karena air merupakan kebutuhan utama bagi proses kehidupan. Jika filosofi didefinisikan sebagai cara pandang hidup, mungkin siklus hidrologi dapat dianggap sebagai suatu filosofi. Hal tersebut menjadi gagasan penulis dalam berkarya. Dalam karya penciptaan ini, penulis merumuskan beberapa pembahasan mengenai output penciptaan karya yang dilihat dari ilmu kesenirupaan tentang bagaimana konsep dan deskripsi visual filosofi air dalam kehidupan yang menjadi sumber gagasan dalam berkarya ekspresionisme. Penciptaan karya seni lukis ini berawal dari penggagasan ide, diolah serta direnungkan dalam proses kontemplasi, dikolaborasikan dengan dorongan stimulus berkarya sehingga terciptalah karya penelitian dengan unsur seni pada filosofi air dalam kehidupan manusia sebagai sumber inspirasi dalam penciptaan karya seni lukis ekspresionisme ini. Human figure (manusia) digunakan penulis sebagai objek utama dalam berkarya. Penggunaan cat akrilik pada empat karya dengan media kanvas berukuran 150 x 150 cm untuk karya satu dan tiga karya lainnya berukuran 100 x 120 cm. Penulis menggunakan aliran ekspresionisme pada ke empat karya penulis dengan teknik pewarnaan merupakan kombinasi dari sapuan kuas (brush stroke) yang ekspresif dan pisau palet (impasto). All living things in this world need what is called water. Without water, there would be no life on this earth because water is the main necessity for the process of life. If philosophy is defined as a way of looking at life, perhaps the hydrological cycle can be considered a philosophy. This is the author's idea in his work. In this creation work, the author formulates several discussions about the output of work creation seen from the art science of how the concept and visual description of water philosophy in life are the source of ideas in expressionism work. The creation of this painting work began with the idea of ideas, processed and pondered in the process of contemplation, collaborated with the encouragement of the work stimulus so that research works with elements of art on the philosophy of water in human life were created as a source of inspiration in the creation of this expressionism painting work. Human figure (human) is used by the author as the main object in his work. The use of acrylic paint on four works with canvas media measuring 150 x 150 cm for one work and three other works measuring 100 x 120 cm. The author uses expressionism in the four authors' works with coloring techniques that are a combination of expressive brush strokes and palette knives (impasto).
