Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh inovasi pembelajaran IPS yang dapat menumbuhkan minat belajar IPS sesuai karakteristik peserta didik era digital yang ketergantungan terhadap media digital. Salah satu inovasi tersebut adalah media pembelajaran interaktif berbasis articulate storyline sebagai faktor ekstrinsik pembentukan minat belajar yang mengedepankan audio visual menarik. Adapun tujuan penelitian ini adalah menganalisis pengaruh penggunaan media interaktif berbasis articulate storyline terhadap minat belajar peserta didik dalam pembelajaran IPS. Metode yang digunakan adalah quasi experimental dengan rancangan nonequivalent control group design. Hasil penelitian ini diolah menggunakan analisis statistik parametrik berupa paired sample t test serta analisis statistik non parametrik berupa uji wilcoxon dan uji mann whitney. Hasil analisis data menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh penggunaan media pembelajaran interaktif berbasis articulate storyline terhadap minat belajar peserta didik di kelas eksperimen dalam pembelajaran IPS (0,000 < 0,05), terdapat pengaruh penggunaan Microsoft Powerpoint terhadap minat belajar peserta didik di kelas eksperimen dalam pembelajaran IPS (0,015 > 0,05), serta tidak terdapat pengaruh penggunaan media pembelajaran interaktif berbasis articulate storyline di kelas eksperimen dengan penggunaan Microsoft Powerpoint di kelas kontrol terhadap minat belajar dalam pembelajaran IPS (0,078 > 0,05). This research is motivated by social studies learning which is often seen as memorization learning, so innovation is needed to foster social studies learning interest which is harmonized by the characteristics of students of the digital era that dependence on digital media. One of these innovations is the use of interactive learning media based on Articulate storyline as an extrinsic factor in the formation of interest in learning that prioritizes interesting audiovisual audio. The purpose of this study is to analyze the effect of the use of interactive media based on Articulate storyline on student learning interest in social studies learning. The method used is quasi experimental with the design of the nonequivalent control group design. The results of this study were processed using parametric statistical analysis in the form of paired sample t test and non -parametric statistical analysis in the form of Wilcoxon test and Mann Whitney test. The results of the data analysis show that there are differences in student learning interest between before and after being given an interactive learning media treatment based on Articulate storyline in the experimental class in social studies learning (0,000 <0.05), there are differences in student learning interest between before and after being given treatment media microsoft powerpoint in the control class in social studies learning (0.015> 0.05), and there are no significant differences in the interest of learning social studies after being given treatment in the experimental class using articulate story -based learning media with the control class using microsoft powerpoint (0.078> 0.05).
