Abstract

Penelitian ini membahas tentang pengembangan konten media Video Eksplainer Motion Graphic pada Mata Pelajaran Bahasa Indonesia di SMP dan efektitasnya dalam penggunaan untu pembelajaran Bahasa Indonesia. Tujuannya adalah untuk mendeskripsikan proses analisis kebutuhan, proses desain dan pengembangan, serta proses penilaian yang dilakukan hingga produk yang dihasilkan dapat dinyatakan layak untuk digunakan dalam pembelajaran. Penelitian ini didasari oleh temuan terkait perkembangan media Video Explainer Motion Graphic yang saat ini sedang populer di Indonesia dengan banyaknya Platform Edutech yang berkembang pesat khususnya di masa pandemi Covid-19 serta temuan terkait kurangnya variasi penggunaan media pembelajaran di sekolah selama pelaksanaan pembelajaran daring. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian Quasi Experiment. Tempat penelitian ini dilakukan adalah SMPN 29 Bandung. Melalui serangkaian prosedur penelitian yang dilakukan, dihasilkan sebuah konten media Video Explainer Motion Graphic untuk mata pelajaran Bahasa Indonesia di SMP yang dikembangkan berdasarkan penilaian dan masukan dari para ahli dan para pengguna beserta hasil efektivitasnya terhadap pembelajaran. Berdasarkan hasil penilaian yang dilakukan oleh para ahli (ahli materi dan ahli media) dan para pengguna (guru dan siswa) terhadap beberapa aspek (materi, bahasa, penyajian media, teknis media, pengaruh media), konten media Video Eksplainer Motion Graphic yang dikembangkan termasuk ke dalam kriteria “Layak” dan memiliki potensi untuk dapat mengembangkan efektivitas pembelajaran siswa. This research discusses the development of Motion Graphic Video Explainer media content in Indonesian Subjects in Junior High Schools and its effectiveness in the use of Indonesian learning. The goal is to describe the needs analysis process, the design and development process, and the assessment process carried out until the resulting product can be declared suitable for use in learning. This research is based on findings related to the development of Video Explainer Motion Graphic media which is currently popular in Indonesia with many Edutech Platforms that are growing rapidly, especially during the Covid-19 pandemic and findings related to the lack of variation in the use of learning media in schools during the implementation of online learning. This research uses the Quasi Experiment research method. The place where this research was conducted was SMPN 29 Bandung. Through a series of research procedures carried out, a Video Explainer Motion Graphic media content for Indonesian subjects in junior high schools was produced based on assessments and input from experts and users and the results of their effectiveness in learning. Based on the results of the assessment conducted by experts (material experts and media experts) and users (teachers and students) on several aspects (material, language, media presentation, media technicality, media influence), the media content of the Motion Graphic Video Explainer developed is included in the "Feasible" criteria and has the potential to be able to develop the effectiveness of student learning.
