Abstract
Selama siswa menjalani proses belajar harus ada hasil belajar yang dicapai. Hasil belajar yang dicapai siswa dalam menempuh pendidikan sejatinya tidak hanya memperhatikan mutu dari institusi pendidikan saja, tetapi juga memperhatikan keberhasilan orang tua dalam memberikan anak-anaknya persiapan yang baik untuk pendidikan yang dijalani. Namun, pada kenyataannya masih ditemukan orang tua yang kurang memberikan perannya dalam proses belajar anak. Penelitian ini memiliki tujuan untuk mengetahui peran orang tua siswa kelas IV pada salah satu sekolah dasar di Kota Depok, kemudian untuk mengetahui hasil belajar siswa kelas IV di sekolah tersebut, serta pengaruh peran orang tua terhadap hasil belajar siswa kelas IV. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode survei dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Sampel yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini sebanyak 14 siswa. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui angket dan dokumentasi hasil belajar siswa (nilai PAS semester ganjil). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa peran orang tua siswa kelas IV pada salah satu sekolah dasar di Kota Depok berada dalam kategori sedang dengan peran paling besar adalah fasilitator, hasil belajar siswa kelas IV pada salah satu sekolah dasar di Kota Depok berada dalam kategori sedang dengan perolehan nilai rata-rata PAS keseluruhan sebesar 79,51, dan terdapat pengaruh peran orang tua terhadap hasil belajar siswa kelas IV yang dibuktikan dengan hasil pengujian hipotesis diperoleh nilai signifikansi sebesar 0,021 pada taraf signifikansi 0,05. Oleh karena signifikansi (Sig.). 0,021 < 0,05, maka Ho diolak dan Ha diterima. Adapun diperoleh nilai R Square sebesar 0,372 yang berarti terdapat pengaruh peran orang tua terhadap hasil belajar siswa kelas IV sebesar 37,2%. ----- As long as students go through the learning process, there must be learning outcomes achieved. The learning outcomes achieved by students who study not only pay attention to the quality of educational institutions, but also the success of parents in equipping their children with the educational provisions they receive. But in reality there are still parents who do not give a role to their children in the learning process. The purpose of this study was to determine the role of parents in grade 4 elementary school in Depok City, and examine the learning outcomes of grade 4 elementary school students at that school and the influence of the role of parents on learning in grade 4 elementary school students. The method used in this study is a survey method with a quantitative approach. The sample used in this study were 14 students. Data collection was carried out through questionnaires and documentation of student learning outcomes (odd semester PAS scores). The results showed that the role of parents of grade IV students at one of the elementary schools in Depok City was in the medium category with the biggest role being the facilitator, the learning outcomes of grade IV students at one of the elementary schools in Depok City were in the medium category with average grades. -the overall PAS average is 79.51, and there is an influence of the role of parents on the learning outcomes of class IV students as evidenced by the results of hypothesis testing obtained a significance value of 0.021 at a significance level of 0.05. Hence the significance (Sig.). 0.021 <0.05, then Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted. The R Square value is 0.372 which means that there is an influence of the role of parents on the learning outcomes of class IV students of 37.2%.
