Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui bagaimana persepsi Kepala Sekolah terhadap mata pelajaran pendidikan jasmani di sekolah. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif kuantitatif dengan menggunakan metode survei dan menggunakan persentase sebagai perhitungannya. Populasi penelitian adalah Kepala Sekolah SMA bandung wilayah utara.Dalam menentukan pastisipan, peneliti menggunakan teknik sampling jenuh. Peneliti mengambil sampel seluruh populasi sebanyak 3 Kepala Sekolah. Instrumen penelitian menggunakan model angket tertutup persepsi sebanyak 20 butir 10 pertanyaan/pernyataan positif 10 pernyataan/pertanyaan negatif dan. Teknik pengolahan data nya menggunakan presentase dan analisis secara deskriptif sederhana. Hasil penelitian persepsi Kepala Sekolah terhadap mata pelajaran pendidikan jasmani di sekolah menengah atas (SMA) melalui angket respon kepala sekolah yang disebar pada ketiga sekolah, menerangkan bahwa 2 sekolah memberikan respon positif dan 1 respon negatif terhadap mata pelajaran pendidikan jasmani. Kesimpulannya bahwa kepala sekolah rata-rata perpersepsi baik terhadap tujuan pendidikan jasmani untuk menciptakan proses belajar siswa tapi adapuna yang masih berpersepsi bahwa keberlangsungan pendidikan jasmani masi kurang dan hanya menganggap untuk kesenangan dan pelengkap pembelajaran disekolah. The purpose of this study was to find out how the principal's perception of physical education subjects at school. This research is a quantitative descriptive study using the survey method and using the percentage as the calculation. The study population was the Principal of SMA Bandung in the northern region. In determining the participants, the researcher used a saturated sampling technique. Researchers took a sample of the entire population of 3 principals. The research instrument used a closed perception questionnaire model of 20 items, 10 positive questions/statements, 10 negative statements/questions and. The data processing technique uses simple descriptive presentation and analysis. The results of research on the principal's perception of the subject of physical education in high school (SMA) through the principal's response questionnaire which was distributed to the three schools, explained that 2 schools gave positive responses and 1 negative response to physical education subjects. The conclusion is that the average school principal has a good perception of the purpose of physical education to create student learning processes but there are those who still perceive that the sustainability of physical education is still lacking and only considers it for fun and a complement to learning at school.
