Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengukur peningkatan kemampuan menulis teks deskriptif Bahasa Korea setelah penerapan peer correction technique dan mengetahui persepsi pembelajar dan pengajar terkait penerapan peer correction technique pada pembelajaran menulis teks deskriptif Bahasa Korea. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kualitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah observasi, tes, angket dan wawancara. Jumlah sampel pada penelitian ini adalah 28 mahasiswa Pendidikan Bahasa tingkat dasar. Hasil skor pembelajar didapatkan melalui pre-test dan post-test. Setelah melihat hasil tersebut terdapat peningkatan rata-rata sebesar 4,57. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat peningkatan kemampuan menulis setelah diterapkannya peer correction tetapi dalam penerapannya perlu memperhatikan beberapa hal seperti tingkat kemampuan siswa. Penelitian ini secara praktis bermanfaat untuk pengajar dan pembelajar Bahasa Korea dalam mempersiapkan dan melaksanakan peer correction technique di kelas khususnya pada keterampilan menulis. This research aims to measure the increased ability to write Korean descriptive texts after the application of peer correction technique and to understand teachers’ and learners’ view on the application of peer correction technique in learning to write Korean descriptive texts. This research used a qualitative method and data collection techniques used in this research are observations, tests, questionnaires and interviews. The number of samples in this study was 28 Korean Language Education students from basic level. The students’ scores on writing found by pre-test and post-test. The scores’ average increase 4,57. It can be concluded that there is an increase in students’ writing ability after the application of peer correction technique but in its application, it is necessary to pay attention to several things such as the level of student ability. This research is practically useful for Korean teachers and learners in preparing and carrying out peer correction technique in class especially on writing skills.
