Abstract

Pengetahuan kesehatan reproduksi remaja merupakan salah satu bagian dari pendidikan seks. Rendahnya pengetahuan kesehatan reproduksi remaja menjadi salah satu penyebab munculnya masalah kesehatan reproduksi pada remaja. Media sosial khususnya instagram mampu menjadi salah satu sumber informasi kesehatan reproduksi remaja. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh konten pendidikan seks pada instagram dengan menganalisis isi pesan, struktur pesan, format pesan, dan sumber pesan terhadap pengetahuan kesehatan reproduksi remaja. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode studi korelasional dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Penelitian ini dilakukan terhadap salah satu akun instagram yang selalu memberikan informasi terkain kesehatan reproduksi, yaitu @tabu.id dengan 100 pengikutnya yang merupakan remaja dengan usia 10 sampai 24 tahun dan belum menikah. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa isi pesan dan sumber pesan memiliki pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap pengetahuan kesehatan reproduksi remaja. Namun, struktur pesan dan format pesan tidak memiliki pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap pengetahuan kesehatan reproduksi remaja. Isi pesan, struktur pesan, format pesan, dan sumber pesan secara bersamaan memiliki pengaruh terhadap pengetahuan kesehatan reproduksi remaja sebesar 47,7%. Oleh karena itu, peneliti memberikan rekomendasi agar penelitian selanjutnya mampu memunculkan faktor lain diluar konten pendidikan seks pada instagram yang mampu mempengaruhi pengetahuan kesehatan reproduksi remaja. Kata Kunci: Pengaruh Konten Media Sosial Instagram, Pendidikan Seks, Pengetahuan Kesehatan Rerproduksi Remaja. Adolescents’ reproductive health knowledge is one part of sex education. The low knowledge of adolescent reproductive health is one of the causes of the emergence of reproductive health problems in adolescents. Social media, especially Instagram, can be a source of information on adolescent reproductive health. This study aims to determine the effect of sex education content on Instagram by analyzing message content, message structure, message format, and message sources on adolescent reproductive health knowledge. This study uses a correlational study method with a quantitative approach. This research was conducted on an Instagram account that always provides information related to reproductive health, namely @tabu.id with 100 followers who are teenagers aged 10 to 24 years and are not married. The results showed that the content of the message and the source of the message had a significant influence on adolescent reproductive health knowledge. However, message structure and message format did not have a significant effect on adolescent reproductive health knowledge. Message content, message structure, message format, and message source simultaneously have an influence on adolescent reproductive health knowledge of 47.7%. Therefore, the researcher recommends that further research be able to bring up other factors outside of sex education content on Instagram that can influence adolescent reproductive health knowledge.
