Abstract

ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan peningkatkan kemampuan siswa mengerjakan penjumlahan dan pengurangan bilangan bulat dengan menggunakan media pembelajaran garis bilangan mobil-mobilan pada pembelajaran matematika. Dilatar belakangi dengan kurangnya pehaman siswa tentang penjumlahan dan pengurangan bilangan bulat. Karena pelaksanaan pembelelajaran belum memcapai hasil yang diharapkan. Metode yang digunakan adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK), model Kemmis dan MC. Taggart. Adapun kegiatan yang dilakukan terdiri dari tiga siklus, dengan setiap siklus terdiri dari satu tindakan pembelajaran. Setiap tindakan pembelajaran terdiri dari empat tahap kegiatan, yakni, tahap: rencana awal, pelaksanaan pembelajaran, observasi, refleksi, dan perbaikan. Penelitian dilaksanakan di SD Negri Datar pada kelas VI (Enam). Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa: terjadi peningkatan kemampuan guru menyusun rencana pembelajaran, pada siklus I sebesar 78%, siklus II 84%, dan siklus III 87%. Demikian pula dengan aktivitas guru dan siswa selama pembelajaran pada siklus I, II, dan III. Terjadi peningkatan prosentase aktitas guru pada setiap siklus, pada siklus I 60 %, pada siklus II 87%, dan pada siklus III 95%. Sedangkan untuk aktivitas siswa diperoleh hasil siklus I sebesar 58%, siklus II 66%, dan siklus III 92%. Hasil belajar siswa siklus I 44,5%, siklus II 65% dan siklus III 77,5% atau termasuk kriteria tinggi. Kata Kunci: bilangan bulat, kemampuan siswa, media pembelajaran garis bilangan mobil-mobilan. ABSTRACT This study aims to describe the improvement of students' ability to do addition and subtraction of integers by using a toy number line learning media in learning mathematics. The background is the lack of understanding of students about addition and subtraction of integers. Because the implementation of learning has not achieved the expected results. The method used is Classroom Action Research (CAR), Kemmis and MC models. Taggart. The activities carried out consisted of three cycles, with each cycle consisting of one learning action. Each learning action consists of four stages of activity, namely, stages: initial planning, implementation of learning, observation, reflection, and improvement. The research was conducted at SD Negeri Datar in grade VI (Six). Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that: there is an increase in the ability of teachers to prepare lesson plans, in the first cycle by 78%, in the second cycle by 84%, and in the third cycle by 87%. Similarly, the activities of teachers and students during learning in cycles I, II, and III. There was an increase in the percentage of teacher activity in each cycle, in the first cycle 60%, in the second cycle 87%, and in the third cycle 95%. Meanwhile, for student activities, the results of the first cycle were 58%, the second cycle was 66%, and the third cycle was 92%.
