Abstract

Potensi bencana alam yang tinggi di Indonesia tidak diimbangi dengan pengetahuan masyarakatnya terkait mitigasi bencana. Salah satu pihak yang berperan dalam mengedukasi masyarakat adalah guru geografi melalui kompetensinya sebagai pengembang kurikulum kebencanaan. Namun, peneliti menemukan realitas bahwa mahasiswa S1 Pendidikan Geografi di Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia, sebagai calon guru geografi, masih kurang pemahamannya dalam mendesain kurikulum kebencanaan. Alternatif solusi atas permasalahan tersebut adalah media pembelajaran berupa modul interaktif berbasis digital, yang dapat dimanfaatkan sebagai panduan dalam mendesain kurikulum kebencanaan. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui keseluruhan proses pengembangan modul interaktif berbasis digital tentang desain kurikulum kebencanaan bagi calon guru geografi. Penelitian ini mengimplementasikan metode Design and Development yang mengacu pada prosedur model pengembangan ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Evaluation). Melalui teknik purposive sampling, dihasilkan sejumlah 30 sampel penelitian yang merupakan mahasiswa S1 Pendidikan Geografi di Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia. Berdasarkan proses penelitian didapatkan hasil bahwa modul interaktif berbasis digital merupakan solusi yang tepat bagi pengguna karena memungkinkan mereka untuk belajar mandiri secara daring maupun luring. Adapun rancangan kontennya meliputi topik konsep, ruang lingkup, mekanisme penyelenggaraan, muatan, dan strategi pengintegrasian pendidikan kebencanaan. Rancangan tersebut dikembangkan dengan aplikasi FlipBuilder yang kemudian diujicobakan kepada sampel sebagai pengguna. Sebagai bentuk evaluasi, pengguna diharuskan mengisi kuesioner penilaian yang meliputi aspek kelayakan isi, kelayakan kebahasaan, belajar mandiri, dan desain isi modul. Penilaian tersebut mendapatkan rerata persentase sebesar 89,5% yang diinterpretasikan ke dalam kategori “sangat baik”. Maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa modul interaktif berbasis digital tentang desain kurikulum kebencanaan ini layak digunakan oleh para calon guru geografi. Indonesia has a high potential for natural disasters, yet its citizens do not have sufficient knowledge about disaster mitigation. One of the parties who play a role in educating the citizens is the geography teachers through their competence as developers of disaster curriculum. However, the researcher found the reality that undergraduate students of Geography Education at the Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia, as prospective geography teachers, have less comprehension of designing disaster curriculum. The alternative solution to these issues is digital-based interactive modules as a learning media, which can be used as a guide in designing disaster curriculum. Therefore, this research aims to discover the entire process of developing digital-based interactive modules on disaster curriculum design for prospective geography teachers. This research implements the Design and Development method that refers to the ADDIE development model procedure (Analysis, Design, Development, Evaluation). Through a purposive sampling technique, 30 research samples were gained from undergraduate Geography Education students at the Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia. Based on the research process, it was found that the digital-based interactive module is the proper solution for users because it allows them to study independently both online and offline. The content design covers several topics, including concept, scope, implementation mechanisms, contents, and integration strategies of disaster education. The design was developed using the FlipBuilder application and then tested on the users, which are the research sample. As a form of evaluation, users must fill out an assessment questionnaire covering several aspects: content feasibility, language feasibility, self-study, and module content design. This assessment has an average percentage of 89.5%, which is interpreted into the "very good" category. To conclude, this digital-based interactive module on disaster curriculum design is feasible for use by prospective geography teachers.
