Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh adanya temuan permasalahan yang terjadi di kelas VI SDN 263 Rancaloa, Kelurahan Cipamokolan, Kecamatan Rancasari Kota Bandung. Peneliti mengkaji tentang rendahnya kemampuan menulis pada peserta didik kelas VI SD yang dicirikan dengan hasil tulisan peserta didik yang belum terintegrasi antar kalimat utama dengan kalimat penjelas serta peserta didik belum mampu menjabarkan atau menuliskan kalimat penjelas dalam setiap paragraf. Berdasarkan permasalahan tersebut, penelitian ini dilaksanakan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model PjBL dengan teknik wartawan junior berbantuan liveworksheet terhadap menulis teks eksplanasi pada peserta didik Sekolah dasar. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuasi eksperimen dengan rancangan pretest-postest control group design. Subjek penelitian ini terdiri atas 30 orang dari kelas kontrol dan 30 orang dari kelas eksperimen. Hasil penelitian ini adalah mendapatkan data awal kemampuan menulis teks eksplanasi sebelum menggunakan model PjBL dengan teknik wartawan junior berbantuan LKPD interaktif. Keterampilan menulis teks eksplanasi setelah dilakukan pembelajaran melalui model PjBL dengan teknik wartawan junior berbantuan LKPD interaktif. Ditemukan adanya perbedaan yang signifikan terhadap pembelajaran menulis teks eksplanasi melalui model PjBL dengan teknik wartawan junior berbantuan LKPD interaktif. Hal ini menunjukkan dengan diterapkannya model PjBL dengan teknik wartawan junior berbantuan LKPD interaktif terhadap menulis teks eksplanasi pada peserta didik kelas VI sekolah dasar memberikan pengaruh yang positif. Kata kunci: menulis teks eksplanasi, model PjBL, wartawan junior, LKPD interaktif This research is motivated by the findings of problems that occur in class VI of SDN 263 Rancaloa, kelurahan Cipamokolan, kecamatan Rancasari, Bandung City. The researcher examined the low writing ability of sixth grade elementary school students which was characterized by the results of students' writing that had not been integrated between main sentences and explanatory sentences and students had not been able to describe or write explanatory sentences in each paragraph. Based on these problems, this research was conducted to determine the effect of the PjBL model with the junior journalist technique assisted by liveworksheets on writing explanatory texts for elementary school students. This study used a quasi-experimental method with a pretest-posttest control group design. The subjects of this study consisted of 30 people from the control class and 30 people from the experimental class. The results of this study were to obtain initial data on the ability to write explanatory texts before using the PjBL model using the junior journalist technique assisted by interactive worksheets. Explanatory text writing skills after being taught through the PjBL model with junior journalist techniques assisted by interactive worksheets. It was found that there was a significant difference in learning to write explanatory texts through the PjBL model with junior journalist techniques assisted by interactive worksheets. This shows that the implementation of the PjBL model with junior journalist techniques assisted by interactive worksheets on writing explanatory texts for students in grade VI elementary schools has a positive influence.
