    Abstract

    Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis effect size dari implementasi model Problem-Based Learning (PBL) terhadap peningkatan kemampuan penalaran matematis siswa. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif dengan metode penelitian systematic review jenis metanalisis. Adapun artikel yang dipilih dalam penelitian ini adalah artikel jurnal mengenai penelitian eksperimental pembelajaran yang menggunakan model PBL untuk meningkatkan kemampuan penalaran matematis siswa. Peneliti menghimpun artikel dan memilahnya sesuai data yang relevan. Hasil akhir dari inklusi ekslusi diperoleh 11 artikel yang memenuhi syarat. Setelah menghitung dan menganalisis nilai effect size, diperoleh kesimpulan sebagai berikut: 1) Nilai effect size dari implementasi model PBL pada pembelajaran matematika dalam meningkatkan kemampuan penalaran siswa ialah tinggi, terutama pada materi geometri. 2) PBL memiliki pengaruh yang tinggi apabila dilihat dari aspek kelas, dimana kelas VII memperoleh nilai effect size paling tinggi.

    This study aims to analyze the effect size of the implementation of the Problem-Based Learning (PBL) model on improving students' mathematical reasoning abilities. This research is a quantitative research with a systematic review method of meta-analysis. The articles selected in this study were journal articles regarding learning experimental research using the PBL model to improve students' mathematical reasoning abilities. Researchers collect articles and sort them according to relevant data. The final result of inclusion and exclusion obtained 11 articles that met the requirements. After calculating and analyzing the effect size value, the following conclusions are obtained: 1) The effect size value of the implementation of the PBL model in learning mathematics in improving students' reasoning abilities is high, especially in geometry material. 2) PBL has a high influence when viewed from the class aspect, where class VII gets the highest effect size score.
