Abstract

ABSTRAK Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh belum optimalnya pembelajaran karakter di SMP Daarut Tauhiid Boarding School Bandung. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menghasilkan bahan ajar pendidikan karakter BaKu di sekolah berasrama. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode R & D dengan model ADDIE (analysis, design, develop, implementation, evaluation). Partisipan penelitian terdiri atas 191 orang siswa kelas 9 di SMP Daarut Tauhiid Boarding School putri di Kota Bandung dan SMP Daarut Tauhiid Borading School putra di kabupaten Bandung Barat. Penelitian ini juga melibatkan satu orang wakasek kurikulum dari masing-masing sekolah serta 9 orang guru. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi, wawancara, angket dan dokumentasi, sedangkan teknik analisis data dengan 1) analisis data pendahuluan 2) analisis data hasil validasi ahli/Judgment Ahli 3) analisis data hasil uji coba dan implementasi bahan ajar 4) analisis data hasil tanggapan guru. Hasil penelitian ini adalah adanya produk berupa bahan ajar untuk pembelajaran karakter BaKu dalam bentuk buku dan aplikasi pembelajaran karakter BaKu berupa aplikasi Gen-BaKu. Bahan ajar pendidikan karakter BaKu berbasis teknologi digital ini setelah diujicobakan oleh guru di sekolah menengah pertama sangat efektif membantu guru dalam mengajarkan karakter serta efektif merubah karakter siswa di sekolah berasrama. Kata Kunci: Pengembangan Bahan Ajar, Pendidikan Karakter BaKu, Teknologi Digital, Sekolah Berasrama   ABSTRACT This research is motivated by the not yet optimal character learning at SMP Daarut Tauhiid Boarding School Bandung. The purpose of this study was to produce BaKu character education teaching materials in boarding schools. This study uses the R & D method with the ADDIE model (analysis, design, develop, implementation, evaluation). The research participants consisted of 191 grade 9 students at the girls' Daarut Tauhiid Boarding School Middle School in Bandung City and the boys' Daarut Tauhiid Borading School Middle School in West Bandung district. This research also involved one deputy head of curriculum from each school and 9 teachers. Data collection techniques used observation, interviews, questionnaires and documentation, while data analysis techniques used 1) preliminary data analysis 2) data analysis from expert validation/expert judgment 3) data analysis on trial results and implementation of teaching materials 4) data analysis on teacher responses . The result of this research is that there is a product in the form of teaching materials for BaKu character learning in the form of a book and a BaKu character learning application in the form of the Gen-BaKu application. After being tested by teachers in junior high schools, this digital technology-based BaKu character education teaching material is very effective in helping teachers teach character and effectively changing the character of students in boarding schools.
