Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh adanya miskonsepsi yang terjadi pada siswa mengenai materi gaya dan gerak dikarenakan pemberian materi yang hanya berdasar buku tematik saja. Berdasarkan hal tersebut, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan lembar kerja peserta didik IPA materi gaya dan gerak kelas berbasis discovery learning kelas IV Sekolah Dasar. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode Design and Development (D&D) yang dikembangkan oleh Branch, melalaui lima tahapan yaitu analysis, design, development, implementation, evaluation, yang dapat disingkat ADDIE. Pengembangan desain modul dilakukan peneliti disusun secara sistematis meliputi komponen judul, petunjuk belajar, kompetensi dasar atau materi pokok, informasi pendukung, tugas atau langkah kerja, dan penilaian. Hasil penilaian validasi ahli yang dilakukan kepada ahli materi, ahli media, dan ahli bahasa berupa angket dengan rata rata persentase termasuk kedalam kategori sangat baik. Lembar kerja pesert didik IPA juga dilakukan ujicoba kepada siswa kelas IV Sekolah dasar dan dicatat melalui jurnal temuan. Hasil uji coba menunjukkan bahwa siswa memberikan respon positif dan baik terhadap lembar kerja peserta didik. Dengan hal tersebut, dapat dikatakan bahwa pengembangan lembar kerja peserta didik IPA materi gaya dan gerak kelas IV Sekolah Dasar berbasis discovery learning ini layak digunakan. This research is motivated by the existence of misconceptions that occur in students regarding the material of force and motion due to the provision of material based only on thematic books. Based on this, this study aims to develop science student worksheets on force and motion based on discovery learning for class IV Elementary School. The research method used in this study is the Design and Development (D&D) method developed by Branch, through five stages, namely analysis, design, development, implementation, evaluation, which can be abbreviated as ADDIE. The module design development was carried out by the researcher in a systematic manner including the title components, study guides, basic competencies or subject matter, supporting information, tasks or work steps, and assessments. The results of the expert validation assessment carried out on material experts, media experts, and linguist experts were in the form of a questionnaire with the results of the average percentage of scores obtained from all experts are in the very good category. Science student worksheets was also tested on fourth grade elementary school students and recorded in the journal findings. The trial results showed that students gave positive and good responses to Science student worksheets. With this in mind, it can be said that the development of science worksheets on force and motion for class IV elementary school based on discovery learning is feasible to use
