Abstract
ABSTRAK Dinda Rovia’tun Nisa (1801537). Hubungan Perilaku Narcissistic dan Kecenderungan Body Dysmorphic Disorder Pada Pengguna Produk Kecantikan Korea. Skripsi. Program Studi Psikologi, Fakultas Ilmu Pendidikan, Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia. (2022). Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui adakah hubungan antara perilaku narsistik dan kecenderungan body dysmorphic disorder pada pengguna produk kecantikan Korea. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif korelasional dengan teknik sampling accidental sampling dengan subjek penelitian sebanyak 432 perempuan pengguna produk kecantikan Korea di Pulau Jawa berusia 15-28 tahun. Hasil uji korelasi analisis Rank Spearman menunjukkan adanya hubungan positif antara perilaku narsistik dan kecenderungan body dysmorphic disorder. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa semakin tinggi perilaku narsistik maka akan semakin tinggi pula kecenderungan body dysmorphic disorder dan sebaliknya semakin rendah perilaku narsistik maka semakin rendah pula kecenderungan body dysmorphic disorder. Untuk penelitian selanjutnya bisa menjangkau data yang lebih luas dan memamparkan data yang lebih kaya dengan pengambilan populasi dan sampel tidak hanya pengguna produk kecantikan Korea dan bersifat heterogen. Relationship between Narcissistic Behavior and Tendency of Body Dysmorphic Disorder in Korean Beauty Product Users. Thesis. Psychology Study Program, Faculty of Education, Indonesian University of Education. (2023). This study aims to determine whether there is a relationship between narcissistic behavior and the tendency of body dysmorphic disorder in users of Korean beauty products. This study used a correlational quantitative method with accidental sampling techniques with 432 female users of Korean beauty products on the island of Java aged 15-28 years as subjects. The results of the Spearman Rank analysis correlation test showed that there was a positive relationship between narcissistic behavior and body dysmorphic disorder tendency. It can be concluded that the higher the narcissistic behavior, the higher the tendency for body dysmorphic disorder, and conversely, the lower the narcissistic behavior, the lower the tendency for body dysmorphic disorder. For future research will be able to reach broader data and present richer data by taking populations and samples that are not only users of Korean beauty products and are heterogeneous.
