Abstract

Berpikir kritis matematis menurut Supriadi (2019: 6) adalah kemampuan cara berpikir saat memecahkan masalah matematika. Kemampuan berpikir kritis di jenjang sekolah dasar masih tergolong rendah, berdasarkan hasil studi pendahuluan guru masih menggunakan model pembelajaran yang berpusat pada guru (teacher centered), dimana hal itu dapat membuat siswa kurang berpartisipasi pada saat pembelajaran yang mempengaruhi kemampuan berpikir kritis matematis siswanya. Salah satu peran guru dalam pembelajaran matematika adalah meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis matematis siswa yaitu dengan menerapkan model pembelajaran aktif dan menyenangkan. Silberman (2016: 6) menyatakan salah satu model pembelajaran yang membantu siswa dalam mendengar, mengajukan pertanyaan, dan berdiskusi dengan teman sehingga melatih dan meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis ialah model Everyone is a Teacher Here. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah kemampuan berpikir kritis matematis siswa yang memperoleh model pembelajaran Everyone is a Teacher Here berbantuan etnomatematika Sunda lebih baik daripada siswa yang memperoleh model pembelajaran ekspositori. Budaya Sunda yang digunakan sebagai pendamping model pembelajaran pada penelitian ini ialah falsafah hidup masyarakat Sunda yaitu silih asah, silih asih, silih asuh. Penelitian ini dilakukan di SD Negeri Karawaci Baru 6 Kota Tangerang. Jenis penelitian ini adalah quasi experiment design dengan bentuk nonequivalent pre-test post-test control group design. Hasil dari uji independent sample t-test diperoleh nilai signifikansi (2 tailed) 0,000 < 0,05. Hal ini menandakan bahwa kemampuan berpikir kritis matematis siswa di kelas eksperimen lebih baik dibandingkan kelas kontrol. Selain itu, berdasarkan hasil uji N-Gain pada kelas eksperimen memiliki interpretasi cukup efektif, sedangkan pada kelas kontrol memiliki interpretasi kurang efektif. Serta disposisi berpikir kritis matematis siswa kelas eksperimen memperoleh rata-rata 86,72% yang artinya menunjukkan kategori baik. Maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa kemampuan berpikir kritis matematis siswa yang memperoleh model pembelajaran Everyone is a Teacher Here berbantuan etnomatematika Sunda lebih baik daripada siswa yang memperoleh model pembelajaran ekspositori. Mathematical critical thinking according to Supriadi (2019: 6) is the ability to think when solving mathematical problems. The ability to think critically at the elementary school level is still relatively low, based on the results of preliminary studies teachers still use a teacher-centered learning model, which can make students less participating in learning which affects the mathematical critical thinking skills of their students. One of the tasks of teachers in mathematics learning is to improve students' mathematical critical thinking skills by applying active and fun learning models. Silberman (2016: 6) said one of the learning models that helps students in listening, asking questions, and discussing with friends so as to train and improve critical thinking skills is the “Everyone is a Teacher Here” models. This research was to find out whether the students' mathematical critical thinking skills who received the “Everyone is a Teacher Here” learning model with Sundanese ethnomathematics assistance were better than students who received the expository learning model. The Sundanese culture used as a companion to the learning model in this study is the philosophy of life of the Sundanese people, namely silih asah, silih asih, silih asuh. This research is located at Karawaci Baru 6 Elementary School, Tangerang City. This type of research is a quasi-experimental design with nonequivalent pre-test post-test control group design. The results of the independent sample t-test obtained a significance value (2 tailed) 0.000 < 0.05. This means that students' mathematical critical thinking skills in the experimental class are better than the control class. In addition, based on the results of the N-Gain test in the experimental class it has a fairly effective interpretation, while in the control class it has a less effective interpretation. As well as the disposition to think critically mathematically the students in the experimental class obtained an average of 86.72%, which means that they are in a good category, so it can be concluded that the students' mathematical critical thinking skills who received the “Everyone is a Teacher Here" learning model assisted by Sundanese ethnomathematics were better than students who received the expository learning model.
