Abstract
This study aims to produce an outline of chemical teaching materials that support the competence of Vocational High School (SMK) students, Agribusiness Expertise Competency in Processing Fishery Products (APHPi). The research design used is an evaluative descriptive research method and a qualitative approach. The subjects in this study are adaptive chemistry material (C.1) and vocational material (C.2 and C.3) SMK APHPi Expertise Competencies based on the 2013 SMK Curriculum. This research was carried out at one of the vocational schools in the Karawang area. Participants in this study were one chemistry teacher and three vocational teachers of SMK APHPi Expertise Competencies. Data obtained through interviews and reviews by experts in the field . The research results obtained,(1) all adaptive chemical materials (C.1) in accordance with the needs of vocational subjects (C.2 and C.3) SMK PHP Expertise Competencies; (2) there are other chemical materials that can support vocational materials of SMK APHPi but have not been accommodated in adaptive chemical materials (C.1), namely materials working in laboratories and additives; (3) The scope of chemistry includes the sequence and description of the chemical material and the context in APHPi which is arranged in the form of an outline of teaching materials. The chemical matter is 1) the material and its changes; 2) additives; 3) separation of mixtures; 4) Elemental symbols, chemical formulas, nomenclature of simple compounds and reaction equations; 5) The structure of atoms and the properties of elements in the periodic system; 6) Work in the Laboratory; 7) the basic laws of chemistry and stoichiometry; 8) reduction and oxidation reactions; 9) buffer solution; 10) reaction rate; 11) colloidal system; 12) acid-base; 13) hydrocarbon compounds and their derivatives; and 14) macromolecular compounds.
