Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui gambaran lingkungan keluarga, kompetensi dosen, dan motivasi belajar mahasiswa, serta pengaruh lingkungan keluarga dan kompetensi dosen terhadap motivasi belajar mahasiswa Fakultas Pendidikan Ekonomi dan Bisnis Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia Angkatan 2019 dan 2020. Teori yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Teori Behavioristik. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif dan verifikatif. Sampel yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Mahasiswa FPEB UPI Angkatan 2019 dan 2020 sebanyak 305 mahasiswa yang ditentukan dengan menggunakan teknik simple random sampling. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah statistik deskriptif dan statistik inferensial dengan menggunakan bantuan software IBM SPSS V.25. Berdasarkan hasil analisis deskriptif lingkungan keluarga, kompetensi dosen, dan motivasi belajar berada dalam kategori tinggi. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa lingkungan keluarga berpengaruh positif terhadap motivasi belajar mahasiswa. Kompetensi dosen berpengaruh positif terhadap motivasi belajar mahasiswa. Serta lingkungan keluarga dan kompetensi dosen berpengaruh terhadap motivasi belajar Mahasiswa FPEB UPI Angkatan 2019 dan 2020. This study aims to describe the family environment, lecturer’s competence, and student learning motivation, as well as the influence of the family environment and lecturer competence on the learning motivation of students in the Faculty of Economics and Business Education, Indonesian University of Education, Class of 2019 and 2020. The theory used in this study is the Behavioristic Theory. This research uses descriptive and verification methods. The sample used in this study was FPEB UPI Students Class of 2019 and 2020 as many as 305 students who were determined using a simple random sampling technique. The data analysis technique used is descriptive statistics and inferential statistics using the help of IBM SPSS V.25 software. Based on the results of a descriptive analysis of the family environment, lecturer’s competency and learning motivation are in the high category. The results of this study indicate that the family environment has a positive effect on student learning motivation. Lecturer’s competence has a positive effect on student learning motivation. As well as the family environment and lecturer’s competence affect the learning motivation of FPEB UPI students class of 2019 and 2020.
