Abstract

Pesatnya perkembangan ilmu pengetahuan dan teknologi memberikan dampak yang signifikan dalam mencerdaskan kehidupan bangsa. Maka dari itu setiap orang harus mampu memikirkaan secara kritis dampak dari adanya perkembangan tersebut terhadap lingkungan. Education for Sustainable Development yang dikenal dengan singkatan ESD muncul dalam rangka menjawab tantangan tersebut bertujuan untuk mengembangkan keterampilan dan nilai agar masyarakat mampu berkontribusi untuk menjaga dan melestarikan lingkungan, sosial dan budaya yang berkelanjutan. Sekolah memiliki peran yang besar dalam mewujudkan pendidikan yang menanamkan nilai keberlanjutan. Nilai-nilai ESD dalam pengimplementasiannya di Sekolah Dasar dapat dilakukan dengan cara mengintegrasikannya ke dalam kegiatan pembelajaran. Penggunaan bahan ajar sangat penting dalam menunjang keberhasilan suatu proses pembelajaran. Namun pengimplementasian ESD di Indonesia masih belum terlaksana secara optimal, oleh karena itu perlu adanya pengembangan bahan ajar yang dapat dijadikan landasan untuk menyampaikan nilai-nilai ESD dalam proses pembelajaran. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mendeskripsikan proses pengembangan elektronik modul topik hidroponik berbasis ESD berorientasi literasi numerasi siswa di Sekolah Dasar. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah Desain Based Research (DBR) prosedur penelitian model Revees. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah studi literatur, studi pendahuluan berupa wawancara dan studi dokumentasi, Focus Group Discussion (FGD) dan expert judgement. Berdasarkan hasil validasi dari ahli bahan ajar, ahli materi, ahli pedagogik serta hasil dari angket respon peserta didik terhadap pengggunaan e-modul pada saat uji coba berulang menunjukkan bahwa e-modul layak digunakan sehingga diperoleh bentuk akhir yaitu E-Modul Topik Hidroponik Berbasis Education for Sustainable Development (ESD) Berorientasi Literasi Numerasi Siswa di Sekolah Dasar. Kata Kunci: ESD, E-Modul, Hidroponik, Sekolah Dasar. The rapid development of science and technology has had a significant impact on the intellectual life of the nation. Therefore, everyone must be able to think critically about the impact of these developments on the environment. Education for Sustainable Development, known as the abbreviation ESD, emerged in order to answer this challenge with the aim of developing skills and values so that people are able to contribute to protecting and preserving a sustainable environment, social and culture. Schools have a big role in realizing education that instills the value of sustainability. ESD values can be implemented in elementary schools by integrating them into learning activities. The use of teaching materials is very important in supporting the success of a learning process. However, the implementation of ESD in Indonesia has not been implemented optimally, therefore it is necessary to develop teaching materials that can be used as a basis for conveying ESD values in the learning process. The purpose of this study was to describe the process of developing electronic hydroponic topic modules based on ESD oriented to students' numeracy literacy in elementary schools. The research method used is Design Based Research (DBR) research procedure model Revees. Data collection techniques used in this study were literature studies, preliminary studies in the form of interviews and documentation studies, Focus Group Discussions (FGD) and expert judgment. Based on the validation results from teaching materials experts, material experts, pedagogic experts as well as the results of student response questionnaires to the use of e-modules during repeated trials, it shows that the e-modules are very feasible to use so that the final form is obtained, namely E-Modules on Education-Based Hydroponic Topics for Sustainable Development (ESD) Oriented Numerical Literacy of Students in Elementary Schools.
