Abstract

Penelitian ini di latar belakangi oleh letak geografis Negara Indonesia sehingga Negara Indonesia merupakan Negara yang rawan terjadinya bencana alam serta kurangnya edukasi mengenai kesiapsiagaan bencana alam kepada masyarakat khusunya anak-anak usia sekolah, seperti halnya pembelajaran di sekolah dasar belum secara spesifik memasukan atau membahas mengenai kesiapsiagaan bencana alam. Pentingnya kesiapsiagaan di belajarkan kepada anak-anak sekolah yaitu agar siswa memiliki pengetahuan yang baik mengenai bencana alam sehingga apabila terjadi bencan alam mereka akan mampu untuk menyelamatkan diri dari bencana alam. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan modul tanggap bencana alam berbasis pendekatan saintifik untuk meningkatkan kesiapsiagaan bencana siswa kelas IV sekolah dasar. Penelitian ini dilakukan menggunakan metode Desain and Development (DnD) dengan menggunakan prosedur yang dikembangkan oleh Branch (2009) yaitu model ADDIE dengan 5 tahap (Analisis, Development, Implementation dan Evaluation.). Partisipan pada penelitian ini yaitu ahli materi, ahli media, ahli pembelajaran serta siswa kelas IV sekolah dasar. Data yang diperoleh dari penelitian ini dilakukan analisis kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Hasil dari penelitian ini yaitu: 1) telah dikembangkan modul tanggap bencana alam, 2) diperoleh hasil validasi terhadap modul tanggap bencana alam dari ahli materi memperoleh skor sebesar 97% dengan kategori sangat layak, ahli media memperoleh skor sebesar 84% dengan kriteria sangat layak, ahli pembelajaran memperoleh skor sebesar 90% dengan kriteria sangat layak. 3) modul tanggap bencana alam ini mampu meningkatkan kesiapsiagaan siswa kelas IV sekolah dasar hal tersebut berdasarkan hasil pretest dan posttest yang telah dilaksanakan. This study aims to develop a natural disaster response module based on a scientific approach to improve disaster preparedness for grade IV elementary school students. This research was conducted using the Design and Development (DnD) method using procedures developed by Branch (2009), namely the ADDIE model with 5 stages (Analysis, Development, Implementation and Evaluation.). The participants in this study were material experts, media experts, learning experts and fourth grade elementary school students. The data obtained from this study were analyzed qualitatively and quantitatively. The results of this study are: 1) a natural disaster response module has been developed, 2) the validation results for the natural disaster response module are obtained from material experts obtaining a score of 97% with the very feasible category, media experts obtaining a score of 84% with very feasible criteria, learning experts get a score of 90% with very decent criteria. 3) this natural disaster response module is able to increase the preparedness of grade IV elementary school students based on the results of the pretest and posttest that have been carried out.
