Abstract

ABSTRAK Siswa menghabiskan sebagian besar waktunya di sekolah sehingga pengalaman siswa di sekolah memberikan kontribusi yang signifikan terhadap subjective well-being mereka. Self-efficacy yang dimiliki siswa memberikan pengaruh positif terhadap subjective well-being. Siswa dengan self-efficacy yang tinggi dapat menimbulkan kepuasan akademiknya. Kepuasan merupakan indikator dari subjective well-being. Dengan kata lain self-efficacy dapat meningkatkan subjective well-being siswa. Adanya stres akademik dapat memengaruhi hubungan antara self-efficacy dan subjective well-being. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis stres akademik sebagai variabel yang memoderasi pengaruh self-efficacy terhadap subjective well-being siswa SMA Negeri di Jakarta Timur. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu kuantitatif dengan desain korelasional. Teknik pengambilan sampel yang digunakan adalah non probability sampling dengan jenis purposive sampling. Jumlah responden dalam penelitian ini sebanyak 360 siswa SMA Negeri di Jakarta Timur dengan rentang usia 15-19 tahun. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini merupakan adaptasi dari instrumen Educational Stress Scale for Adolescents (ESSA) untuk mengukur Stres akademik, Subjective Well-Being in School Scale untuk mengukur subjective well-being siswa dan Academic Self-efficacy Scale (ASES) untuk mengukur self-efficacy siswa. Teknik analisis yang digunakan yaitu Moderated Regression Analysis (MRA). Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa stres akademik memoderasi pengaruh self-efficacy terhadap subjective well-being siswa. Rekomendasi hasil penelitian ini diberikan kepada sekolah, guru dan orang tua, dan peneliti selanjutnya. Kata kunci: stres akademik, subjective well-being, self-efficacy ABSTRACT Most of student’s time is spent at school, so students’ school experiences contribute significantly to their subjective well-being. Self-efficacy in students has a positive effect on subjective well-being. Academic satisfaction can be achieved by students who have a high sense of self-efficacy. Satisfaction is a measure of one's subjective well-being. To put it another way, self-efficacy has the potential to improve students’ subjective well-being. Academic stress can have an impact on the relationship between self-efficacy and subjective well-being. The purpose of this study is to analyze academic stress as a moderator of the effect of self-efficacy on subjective well-being among students from State Senior High Schools in East Jakarta. This study employed a quantitative method with a correlational design. Non-probability sampling was used in this study, specifically purposive sampling. This study included 360 State High School students from East Jakarta ranging in age from 15 to 19 years old. This study employed an adaptation of the Educational Stress Scale for Adolescents (ESSA) instruments to assess academic stress, the Subjective Well-Being in School Scale to assess student subjective well-being, and the Academic Self-Efficacy Scale (ASES) to assess student self-efficacy. The analysis was carried out using Moderated Regression Analysis (MRA). According to the study’s findings, academic stress moderates the effect of self-efficacy on students’ subjective well-being.
