    Abstract

    Di era perkembangan teknologi digital sekarang teknologi dapat digunakan pada dunia
    pendidikan yang salah satunya digunakan sebagai media pembelajaran berbasis teknologi.
    Peneliti temukan di SDN 3 Jungjang pada pembelajaran IPS masih menggunakan metode
    konvensional seperti ceramah serta sangat jarang menggunakan media pembelajaran,
    sehingga siswa jenuh dan bosan saat belajar. Maka perlu alternatif untuk mengatasi
    masalah tersebut peneliti menerapkan website Storyboard That dengan fitur utamanya
    yaitu characters didalamnya menyediakan berbagai design grafis yang dapat membantu
    keterampilan berpikir kritis design inilah yang akan dipakai untuk visualisasi, visualisasi
    semuanya dapat di tuangkan dalam bentuk komik, hal ini cocok untuk mengajar dalam
    mata pelajaran IPS khususnya materi sejarah. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui
    pengaruh penggunaan media storyboard that terhadap keterampilan berpikir kritis siswa
    pada materi proklamasi kemerdekaan. Pada penelitian ini menggunakan website
    storyboard that beserta 5 soal uraian dengan aspek C4-C6. Penelitian ini Quasi
    Experimental Design berbentuk Nonequivalent Control Design. Jumlah sampel yang
    diambil terdiri dari kelas VI A yang berjumlah 22 siswa sebagai kelas kontrol dan kelas VI
    B yang berjumlah 22 siswa sebagai kelas eksperimen. Teknik analisis data terdiri atas uji
    prasyarat Uji normalitas, Uji homogenitas, dan Uji Independent Sample T-test. Hasil data
    Uji Independent Sample T-test pada data pretestt 0,539 > 0,05 dan posttest tersebut nilai
    Sig. (2-tailed) sebesar 0,000 < 0,05. Jadi dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan
    keterampilan berpikir kritis siswa IPS antara kelas eksperimen yang menggunakan media
    storyboard that dengan kelas kontrol yang hanya menggunakan metode konvensional yaitu
    ceramah di kelas VI SDN 3 Jungjang.
    In the current era of digital technology development, technology can be utilized in the
    world of education, one of which is used as a technology-based learning medium. The
    researcher found that at SDN 3 Jungjang social studies learning still used conventional
    methods such as lectures and very rarely used instructional media so that students felt bored
    and bored while studying. So an alternative is needed to overcome this problem, researchers
    apply the Storyboard That website with its main feature, namely characters. It provides
    various graphic designs which develop critical thinking skills. The design will be used for
    visualization that can be put in comic form. This is suitable for learning social studies
    subjects, especially Historical chapter. This research was conducted to determine the effect
    of using storyboard media on students' critical thinking skills on the material of the
    proclamation of independence. In this study using a storyboard website along with 5
    description questions with aspects C4-C6. This research is a Quasi Experimental Design
    research in the form of Nonequivalent Control Design. The number of samples taken
    consisted of class VI A totaling 22 students as the control class and class VI B totaling 22
    students as the experimental class. Data analysis techniques consist of prerequisite tests,
    normality tests, homogeneity tests, and Independent Sample T-tests. The results of the
    Independent Sample T-test data on the pretest data were 0.539 > 0.05 and the posttest was
    Sig. (2-tailed) from 0.000 <0.05. So it can be concluded that there are differences in social
    studies students' critical thinking skills between the experimental class that uses storyboard
    media and the control class that only uses conventional methods, namely lectures in class
    VI SDN 3 Jungjang.
