Abstract
Penelitian ini berkaitan dengan tingkatan kualitas berpikir kritis siswa SMPN 28 Bandung melalui pembelajaran PAI dan berdasarkan hasil pra tindakan dari fenomena berpikir kritis siswa didapatkan fakta bahwa kualitas berpikir kritis siswa tergolong rendah. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi dan implementasi model pemrosesan informasi dalam pembelajaran PAI untuk meningkatkan kualitas berpikir kritis siwa. Pendekatan kualitatif, serta metode action research digunanakan terhadap guru di SMPN 28 Bandung untuk mengetahui data pratindakan penelitian. Data hasil wawancara, observasi dan studi dokumentasi dianalisis menempuh tiga tahap yaitu: reduksi data, display data, dan verifikasi data. Hasil penelitian yakni: Satu, pembelajaran PAI yang diterapkan di SMPN 28 Bandung menggunakan model pembelajaran konvensional atau metode ceramah dan mendapatkan hasil bahwa siswa belum mampu berpikir kritis dengan parameter terdapat siswa yang memiliki nilai di bawah KKM dan kurang rasa ingin tahu dalam pembelajaran sehingga tujuan pembelajaran sulit tercapai. Dua, perencanaan dalam pembelajaran PAI harus memuat kebutuhan yang meningkatkan berpikir kritis siswa. Tiga, pelaksanaan model pemrosesan informasi di samping kelebihannya, terdapat kekurangan atau hambatan tersendiri. Empat, penerapan model pemrosesan informasi terhadap siswa terbukti mampu meningkatkan kualitas berpikir kritis siswa. Dengan demikian maka dapat dibuktikan bahwa diperlukannya pembelajaran dengan penggunaan model pemrosesan informasi secara tepat karena berpeluang meningkatkan kualitas berpikir kritis siswa SMPN 28 Bandung melalui mata pelajaran PAI. This research is related to the level of critical thinking quality of SMPN 28 Bandung students through PAI learning and based on the pre-action results of students' critical thinking phenomena, it is found that the quality of students' critical thinking is low. Therefore, this study aims to explore and implement information processing models in PAI learning to improve the quality of students' critical thinking. A qualitative approach, as well as an action research method were used with teachers at SMPN 28 Bandung to find out pre-action research data. Data from interviews, observations and documentation studies were analyzed through three stages: data reduction, data display, and data verification. The results of the research are: One, PAI learning applied at SMPN 28 Bandung uses conventional learning models or lecture methods and gets the result that students have not been able to think critically with the parameters that there are students who have grades below the KKM and lack curiosity in learning so that the learning objectives hard to achieve. Two, planning in PAI learning must contain needs that enhance students' critical thinking. Three, the implementation of the information processing model, aside from its advantages, has its own drawbacks or obstacles. Fourth, the application of information processing models to students is proven to be able to improve the quality of students' critical thinking. Thus it can be proven that learning is needed by using information processing models appropriately because it has the opportunity to improve the quality of critical thinking of SMPN 28 Bandung students through PAI subjects.
