Abstract
Permasalahan yang dikaji dalam penelitian ini ialah pelaksanaan pembelajaran dalam mata pelajaran IPAS di kelas IVb SDN 8 Nagrikaler masih belum optimal. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana aktivitas pembelajaran siswa sebelum, saat, dan sesudah menggunakan model Contextual Teaching and Learning. Minimnya motivasi siswa dalam melaksanakan pembelajaran aktif. Model Contextual Teaching and Learning diharapkan mampu meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa melalui objek nyata yang ada di hadapan siswa. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan ialah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) dengan menggunakan model penelitian Kemmis dan McTaggart. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini ialah instrumen tes dan non tes, tes dilaksanakan dengan tes tulis untuk mengetahui hasil belajar siswa dan non tes dilaksanakan melalui kegiatan observasi kepada guru dan siswa. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, didapatkan temuan bahwa aktivitas siswa mengalami peningkatan dalam setiap siklus yang dilaksanakan semula mendapat presentase sebesar 69,4% meningkat menjadi 97,2% dan hasil belajar siswa mengalami peningkatan dengan adanya peningkatan rata- rata nilai menjadi ≥75 semula mendapat rata- rata 62,5 pada siklus I dan meningkat menjadi 79 sesuai dengan indikator keberhasilan dalam penelitian pada setiap siklusnya. Dengan demikian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan model pembelajaran Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) berhasil untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa pada Mata Pelajaran IPAS siswa Kelas IVb di SDN 8 Nagrikaler. ----- The problem studied in this study is that the implementation of learning in science subjects in class IVb SDN 8 Nagrikaler is still not optimal. This study aims to find out how student learning activities are before, during, and after using the Contextual Teaching and Learning model. The lack of student motivation in carrying out active learning. The Contextual Teaching and Learning Model is expected to be able to improve student learning outcomes through real objects in front of students. The type of research used is Classroom Action Research (CAR) using the Kemmis and McTaggart research models. The instruments used in this study were test and non-test instruments. The test was carried out by means of a written test to determine student learning outcomes and non-test carried out through observation activities with teachers and students. Based on the results of the study, it was found that student activity increased in each cycle which was carried out initially with a percentage of 69.4% increased to 97.2% and student learning outcomes increased with an increase in the average value to ≥75 initially received an average average 62.5 in cycle I and increased to 79 according to indicators of success in research in each cycle. Thus, it can be concluded that the application of the Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) learning model was successful in increasing student learning outcomes in the Science Subject of Class IVb students at SDN 8 Nagrikaler.
