Abstract

Pesatnya teknologi dan informasi mendorong manusia untuk terus meningkatkan kapsitas diri serta melalui berbagai pembelajaran, salah satunya pembelajaran informal. Hal ini dilakukan oleh pengelola TBM yang ada di Jawa Barat, mereka banyak belajar walaupun dengan tingkat pendidikan yang beragam. Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk mengkaji gambaran umum pembelajaran informal pengelola TBM di Jawa Barat dalam peningkatan kapasitas SDM. Penelitian ini menggunakan studi kasus pengelola TBM di Jawa Barat yang pernah mengikuti program transformasi perpustakaan. Pengambilan data dilakukan melalui wawancara, observasi dan studi dokumentasi. Analisis data dilakukan secara kualitatif dengan mengkategorisasi dan menghubungkan data serta melalui triangulasi dengan informan. Hasil penelitian ini menemukan bahwa karakteristik media pembelajaran infromal yang dilakukan oleh pengelola TBM melalui media sosial dan sesuai dengan kesepakatan antar pengelola. Adapun penelitian ini menemukan model pembelajaran informal dilakukan dengan tahapan, pertama adanya pelatihan yang diberikan oleh fasilitator, kedua yaitu proses pendampingan dan pemberian motivasi dari fasilitator kepada pengelola, ketiga pengelola terlibat aktif dalam diskusi, baik melalui media maupun secara langsung peran fasilitator memfasilitasi jalannya diskusi, memantau serta memotivasi pengelola yang belum dan kurang aktif, tahapan keempat, pengelola dinilai sudah melaksanakan pembelajaran mandiri sehingga peran fasilitator sebagai konsultan. Hasil pembelajaran mandiri yang dilakukan memberikan perubahan bagi diri pengelola dalam meningkatkan kapasitas. Faktor motivasi belajar, kesadaran diri dan kepercayaan diri pengelola dalam membenahi pengelolaan TBM, menciptakan peluang untuk belajar secara berkelanjutan dengan adanya dukungan belajar dari berbagai pihak. Namun, keberlangsungan pembelajaran akan terhambat dengan adanya keterbatasan dalam keterjangkauan akses media pembelajaran yang dimiliki serta komitmen pengelola untuk tetap konsisten dalam pembelajaran. The rapid rate of technology and information encourages people to continue to improve their abilities and through various learning, one of which is informal learning. This was done by TBM managers in West Java, they learned a lot even though they had various levels of education. The purpose of this research is to examine the general description of informal learning for TBM managers in West Java in increasing the capacity of human resources. This research uses case studies of TBM managers in West Java who have participated in the library transformation program. Data collection was carried out through interviews, observation and documentation studies. Data analysis was carried out qualitatively by categorizing and linking data and through triangulation with informants. The results of this study found that the characteristics of informal learning media carried out by TBM managers through social media and in accordance with the agreement between managers. This study found that the informal learning model was carried out in stages, first there was training provided by the facilitator, second, the process of mentoring and providing motivation from the facilitator to the manager, the three managers were actively involved in the discussion, both through the media and directly the role of the facilitator facilitating the course of the discussion, monitoring and motivating managers who are not yet active and less active, the fourth stage, managers are considered to have carried out independent learning so that the role of the facilitator is as a consultant. The results of independent learning carried out provide changes for managers in capacity building. Factors of learning motivation, self-awareness and self-confidence of managers in improving TBM management, create opportunities to continue learning with learning support from various parties. However, the continuity of learning will be hampered by the limited affordability of access to learning media owned and the commitment of managers to remain consistent in learning.
