Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dan mendeskripsikan interaksi sosial dan pengembangan interaksi sosial anak tunarungu di Perguruan Bela Diri Taekwondo Ronin Kabupaten Cirebon. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan subjek penelitian meliputi anak tunarungu, pelatih taekwondo, dan empat anak mendengar. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan yaitu metode observasi dan wawancara. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah reduksi data, penyajian data, serta penarikan kesimpulan. Untuk menguji keabsahan data digunakan triangulasi teknik dan sumber. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa anak tunarungu mampu menjalin interaksi sosial dengan pelatih dan anak mendengar di perguruan bela diri tersebut dengan cukup baik namun untuk informasi yang diberikan oleh pelatih masih sangat susah untuk dipahami, maka dari itu sistem pemberian informasi dialihkan langsung kepada orang tua dari anak tunarungu tersebut. Interaksi sosial ini ditunjukkan dengan bermain bersama, menjalin kerjasama, bergurau, menjahili satu sama lain dan sebagainya. Interaksi yang terjadi merupakan interaksi verbal yang dipadukan dengan gesture tubuh. Adapun kendala yang dihadapi oleh pelatih yaitu ketika memberikan instruksi saat adanya pertandingan yang tidak memungkinkan menggunakan bahasa verbal dan gerakan. Karena itu, peneliti membuat satu cara menggunakan modifikasi SIBI untuk mengatasi kendala tersebut yang bisa disebut syando atau isyarat taekwondo. Kata kunci : Taekwondo, Anak Tunarungu, Interaksi Sosial The purpose of this research to identify and describe the Social Interaction and development of social interaction deaf children at the Taekwondo Ronin martial arts college, Cirebon District. This research used a qualitative approach with research subjects a deaf children, taekwondo trainers, and four hearing children. The techniques of data collection used observation and interview methods. The technique data analysis used data reduction, data presentasion, and conclusions. To test the validity of the data used triangulation technique and source. The results of the study show that deaf children are able to establish social interactions with trainers and hearing children at the martial arts college quite well, but the information provided by the trainers is still very difficult to understand, therefore the information delivery system is transferred directly to the parents of deaf children the. This social interaction is shown by playing together, cooperating, joking, pranking each other and so on. The interactions that occur are verbal interactions combined with body gestures. As of the obstacle faced by the coach, when giving instructions during a match is not possible to use verbal language and movement. Because of this, the researchers made a way of using SIBI modifications to overcome these obstacles which can be called syando or taekwondo cues.
