Abstract
Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh kesulitan siswa menuangkan ide dalam proses menulis teks eksposisi. Salah satu faktor yang mempengaruhi kesulitan tersebut adalah siswa malas membaca yang mengakibatkan mereka kurang mendapatkan banyak tambahan informasi. Hal ini berpengaruh pada kemampuan menulis teks eksposisi yang tergolong rendah. Selain itu, penggunaan model pembelajaran juga mempengaruhi keberhasilan pembelajaran. Berdasarkan fakta di lapangan, model pembelajaran yang digunakan guru masih mencerminkan model pembelajaran konvensional. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengembangkan model treffinger berbasis multiliterasi dalam pembelajaran menulis teks eksposisi melalui schoology. Model treffinger berbasis multiliterasi digunakan untuk mengatasi kesulitan siswa dalam mengungkapkan ide dengan schoology sebagai media untuk meningkatkan motivasi siswa. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah penelitian pengembangan (R&D) ADDIE (analyze, design, develop, implement, evaluate). Pada tahap analyze dilakukan dengan cara wawancara, penyebaran angket, dan tes menulis untuk mendapatkan potret menulis teks eksposisi di sekolah. Tahap design berdasarkan teori yang relevan dan membuat tata letak model. Tahap development mengembangkan model sesuai tata letak dan melakukan 3 validasi oleh ahli yaitu validasi desain model memperoleh nilai 94% dengan kategori sangat baik, media pembelajaran memperoleh hasil 95% kategori sangat baik, dan evaluasi memperoleh hasil 95% kategori sangat baik. Implementasi dilakukan setelah revisi sesuai validasi ahli. Implementasi dilakukan untuk mengetahui efektivitas model yang telah dikembangkan. Hasil perhitungan tes menulis teks eksposisi siswa memperoleh nilai sebesar 6244 dengan rata-rata 86,7 kategori sangat baik yang menunjukkan bahwa model treffinger berbasis multiliterasi melalui schoology untuk meningkatkan kemampuan menulis teks eksposisi. Tahap evaluasi dilakukan dengan penyebaran angket respons pengguna yaitu guru dan siswa. This research is inspired by students' difficulties in expressing ideas in the process of writing expository text. One of the factors that influence these difficulties is that students are lazy to read which makes them lack of additional information words. At the end, it affects the ability to write expository text which is classified as low. In addition, the use of learning models also affects the success of learning. Based on the facts in the field, the learning model used by the teachers still reflects to the conventional learning model. This research is conducted to developing a multiliteration-based treffinger model in writing exposition text through Schoology. The multiliteration-based treffinger model is used to solve students' difficulties in expressing ideas with Schoology as a medium to increase student motivation. The method used in this research is ADDIE's development research (R&D) (analyze, design, develop, implement, evaluate). At the analysis stage, it is carried out by having interviews, distribution of questionnaires, and writing tests to get portraits of writing exposition text at school. The design stage is based on the relevant theory and creates a model layout. The development stage develops the model according to the layout and performs 3 validations by experts, namely model design validation obtains a score of 94% in the very good category, learning media obtains 95% in the very good category, and evaluation obtains 95% in the very good category. Implementation is arranged after revision according to expert validation. Implementation is done to determine the effectiveness of the model that has been developed. The results of the students' exposition text writing test calculations obtained a score of 6244 with an average of 86.7 in the very good category which indicates that the multiliteration-based treffinger model through Schoology is effective to improve students’ ability to write expository text.
