Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh adanya anggapan bahwa saat ini nilai moral di masyarakat semakin menurun akibat kemajuan zaman. Karya sastra bisa dijadikan salah satu media dalam menyampaikan ajaran moral. Untuk mengembangkan pembelajaran moral di sekolah, dapat menggunakan pembelajaran apresiasi karya sastra seperti cerpen. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan struktur cerita yang terkandung pada kumpulan cerpen Ceu Nonoy Putra Ua Banagara, nilai moral yang terkandung pada kumpulan cerpen Ceu Nonoy Putra Ua Banagara, dan menerapkan hasil penelitian untuk bahan pembelajaran apresiasi sastra di SMA. Metode yang digunakan yaitu metode deskriptif analitik dengan teknik studi pustaka dan analisis data. Sumber data yang digunakan yaitu kumpulan cerpen Ceu Nonoy Putra Ua Banagara karangan H. D. Bastaman. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah 1) setiap cerpen mempunyai struktur cerita yang lengkap mencakup tema, fakta cerita (alur, latar, tokoh dan penokohan), serta sarana cerita (judul, sudut pandang, dan gaya bahasa); 2) mengandung nilai-nilai moral yang baik, terdapat tiga puluh empat sikap yang mencakup lima sikap moral terhadap Tuhan, enam belas sikap moral terhadap dirinya sendiri, sepuluh sikap moral terhadap sesama manusia, satu sikap moral terhadap alam, dua sikap moral terhadap waktu, dan dua sikap moral dalam mencapai kepuasan lahiriah dan batiniah; dan 3) berdasarkan kriteria memilih bahan ajar serta kurikulum 2013 revisi 2017, ada tujuh cerpen yang sesuai untuk dijadikan bahan pembelajaran. Sehingga dapat disimpulkan, kumpulan cerpen Ceu Nonoy Putra Ua Banagara karangan H. D. Bastaman bisa dijadikan bahan pembelajaran apresiasi sastra di SMA. This research is motivated by the notion that currently moral values in society are decreasing as a result of the progress of the times. Literary works can be used as a medium in conveying moral teachings. To develop moral learning in schools, efforts can be made through learning to appreciate literary works such as short stories. This study aims to describe the structure of the stories contained in the collection of short stories Ceu Nonoy Putra Ua Banagara, the moral values contained in the collection of short stories Ceu Nonoy Putra Ua Banagara, and to apply the results of the research to learning materials for appreciation of literature in high school. The method used is descriptive analytic method with literature study and data analysis techniques. The data source used is a collection of short stories Ceu Nonoy Putra Ua Banagara written by H. D. Bastaman. The results of this study are 1) each short story has a complete story structure including themes, story facts (plot, setting, characters and characterizations), and story tools (title, point of view, and language style); 2) contains good moral values, there are thirty-four attitudes which include five moral attitudes towards God, sixteen moral attitudes towards himself, ten moral attitudes towards fellow human beings, one moral attitude towards nature, two moral attitudes towards time, and two moral attitudes in achieving outer and inner satisfaction; and 3) based on the criteria for selecting teaching materials and the 2013 revision of the 2017 curriculum, there are seven short stories that are suitable for use as learning materials. So that it can be concluded, the collection of short stories Ceu Nonoy Putra Ua Banagara written by H. D. Bastaman can be used as learning material for appreciation of literature in high school.
