Abstract

Penelitian ini merupakan kajian karya sastra yakni cerpen, yang mana selain menjadi sebuah kesatuan utuh, juga merupakan sarana ekspresi pengarang dan refleksi kenyataan sosial. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mendeskripsikan unsur intrinsik cerpen dan pandangan dunia pengarang menggunakan metode kualitatif deskriptif. Sumber data penelitian berasal dari cerpen “Junggukin Geori (중국인 거리)” karya Oh Jung-hee dengan pendekatan teori strukturalisme genetik Lucien Goldmann dan metode simak-catat dalam pengumpulan data. Hasil penelitian pertama, unsur intrinsik, yaitu (1) tokoh dalam cerpen terdapat delapan tokoh dengan tokoh ‘Aku’ sebagai tokoh utama, (2) latar cerita berpusat di Pecinan seusai perang Korea dan pada masa tokoh ‘Aku’ masih usia sekolah dasar, (3) alur yang digunakan adalah alur mundur karena urutan peristiwa dalam cerita diperlihatkan tahapan tengahnya terlebih dulu kemudian diceritakan mulai dari tahap awal secara kronologis, dan (4) tema dalam “Junggukin Geori (중국인 거리)” berada pada tema tingkat sosial dan tema tingkat egoistik. Kedua, padangan dunia pengarang dalam “Junggukin Geori (중국인 거리)”, yakni kegelisahan pengarang terhadap perkembangan pemikiran dan perilaku seorang anak di lingkungan yang kurang layak untuk pertumbuhannya, serta pengarang juga ingin mengungkapkan keresahannya terhadap kehidupan para perempuan yang masih begitu sulit bahkan ketika perang telah usai. Penelitian ini memberikan informasi mengenai unsur intrinsik dan unsur genetik cerpen sehingga dapat bermanfaat untuk memperkaya ilmu pengetahuan di bidang linguistik dan kajian strukturalisme genetik, serta menjadi pembelajaran mengenai pemahaman atas pemikiran seorang pengarang dalam karya sastra. This research is raised by the role of literary works, namely short stories, as means of expressing thoughts and reflecting social reality. The purpose of this study is to describe the intrinsic elements of short stories and the author's worldview contained in them. The research data were from the short story “Junggukin Geori (중국인 거리)” by Oh Jung-hee using the note-taking method. The data were analyzes using Lucien Goldmann's theory of genetic structuralism, using descriptive qualitative methods. Regarding the intrinsic elements, the results showed that there were eight characters in the short story with the character ‘I’ as the main character, (2) the setting of the story is centered in Chinatown after the Korean war and when the character 'I' was still in elementary school, (3) the plot used is backward plot because the sequence of events in the story is shown in the middle stage first and then told starting from the first stage chronologically, and (4) the theme in “Junggukin Geori (중국인 거리)” is on the social level theme and the level theme. egoistic. Regarding the world view of the author in “Junggukin Geori (중국인 거리)”, the results revealed the author's anxiety about the development of a child's thoughts and behavior in an environment that is not suitable for their growth, and the author also wants to express his concern about the lives of women who are still so difficult even during the war. is over. This research provides information about the intrinsic elements and genetic elements of short stories, they can be useful for enriching knowledge in the fields of linguistics and the study of genetic structuralism, as well as learning about understanding an author's thoughts in literary works.
