Abstract

ABSTRAK Penelitian ini dilatar belakangi permasalahan yang muncul di lapangan terkait kurangnya kesesuaian proses pengembangan aspek sosial emosional dan penyampaian pembelajasan permainan sains pada anaj usia 5-6 tahun di TK Merpati. Di sekolah tersebut, proses pengembangan aspek sosial emosional anak dan pembelajaran sains belum secara optimal menggunakan permainan sebagai metode pembelajaran. Oleh karena itu peneliti memutuskan untuk melaksanakan penelitian di sekolah tersebut untuk mecari solusi akan permasalahan yang ditemukan. Solusi dari masalah tersebut peneliti melakukan penelitian pengembangan permainan sains pelangi dalam gelas untuk memfasilitasi perkembangan sosial emosional anak usia 5-6 tahun. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk; 1) mendeskripsikan analisis dan eksplorasi pengembangan permainan sains pelangi dalam gelas untuk memfasilitasi perkembangan sosial emosioal anak usia 5-6 tahun; 2) mendekripsikan desain dan konstruksi rancangan permainan sains pelangi dalam gelas untuk memfasilitasi perkembangan sosial emosional anak usia 5-6 tahun; 3) mendeskripsikan evaluasi dan refleksi rancangan permainan sains pelangi dalam gelas untuk memfasilitasi perkembangan sosial emosional anak usia 5-6 tahun; 4) mendeskripsikan kelayakan rancangan permainan sains pelangi dalam gelas untuk memfasilitasi perkembangan sosial emosional anak usia 4-5 tahun. Penelitian dilaksanakan di TK Merpati, Kecamatan Cihaurbeuti, Kabupaten Ciamis. Metode penelitian yang digunakan yaitu Educational Design Research (EDR). Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan wawancara, observasi, validasi ahli, dan angket. Hasil penelitian secara umum permainan sains pelangi dalam gelas adalah layak untuk digunakan dan dapat memfasilitasi perkembangan sosial emosional anak usia 5-6 tahun. ABSTRACT This research is motivated by problems that arise in the field related to the lack of appropriateness in the process of developing social emotional aspects and the delivery of learning science games for children aged 5-6 years at Merpati Kindergarten. At the school, the process of developing children's social emotional aspects and learning science has not optimally used games as a learning method. Therefore, the researcher decided to carry out research at the school to find solutions to the problems found. The solution to this problem, researchers conducted research on the development of rainbow science games in a glass to facilitate the social emotional development of children aged 5-6 years. This research aims to; 1) describe the analysis and exploration of the development of rainbow science games in a glass to facilitate the social and emotional development of children aged 5-6 years; 2) describe the design and construction of the rainbow in glass science game design to facilitate the social emotional development of children aged 5-6 years; 3) describe the evaluation and reflection of the design of the rainbow science game in glass to facilitate the socio-emotional development of children aged 5-6 years; 4) describe the feasibility of designing a rainbow in a glass science game to facilitate the social and emotional development of children aged 4-5 years. The research was conducted at Merpati Kindergarten, Cihaurbeuti District, Ciamis Regency. The research method used is Educational Design Research (EDR). Data collection techniques were carried out by interviews, observation, expert validation, and questionnaires. The results of the research in general, the rainbow science game in a glass is feasible to use and can facilitate the social emotional development of children aged 5-6 years.
