Abstract

ABSTRAK Pembelajaran Moral Siswa Dalam Mengembangkan Kompetensi Watak Kewarganegaraan (Civic Disposition) (Studi Kasus pada Siswa Smpn 1 Peundeuy Garut) Mata PKN salah satu mata pelajaran yang lebih signifikan dalam mengtransmisi pembinaan nilai-nilai moral dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. Karena itu, guru PKN khusunya sangat dibutuhkan perananya sebagai desainer, teladan dan motivator dalam proses pembelajaran di kelas. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk secara umum untuk mengetahui pembelajaran penanaman moral dalam mengembangkan civic disposition pada siswa di SMPN 1 Peundeuy. Pendekatan penelitian yang digunakan yaitu kualitatif studi kasus. Teknik pengumpulan data meliputi observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data yang dilakukan meliputi reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan simpulan. Selain itu, akan dilakukan teknik pemeriksaan keabsahan data meliputi kredibilitas (crebilility), keteralihan (transferability) dan kebergantungan (dependability). Adapun subjek penelitian yaitu guru PPKn dan siswa SMP yang berlokasi di SMPN 1 Peundeuy Kabupaten Garut. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa bahawa pembelajaran penanaman moral dalam mengembangkan watak kewarganegaraan (civic disposition) sangat efektif pada siswa SMPN 1 Peundeuy Garut. Hal ini terlihat kemampuan guru dalam mengorganisasikan komponen-komponen pembelajaran dan menerapkan pendekatan-pendekatan penanaman nilai moral yang berdampak kompotensi civic diposition lebih berkembang. Implementasi pembelajaran watak kewarganegaraan (civic disposition) pada mata PPKn di SMPN 1 Peundeuy dalam penanaman moral selaras dengan model pembelajaran moral menurut Bandura. Penggunaan metode pembiasaan dan peniruan. Pembiasaan ditunjukan dengan menerapkan reward dan punishment. Sementara itu, peniruan dapat dilihat guru PPKn mendesain dirinya sebagai model dalam berperilaku dan memerankan siswa sebagai model. Media yang dominan digunakan dalam pembelajaran moral watak kewarganegaraan (civic disposition). Yaitu media video keteladanan, kisah ispiratif, dan video biografi tokoh. Faktor yang menghambat penanaman moral dalam pembelajaran civic disposition yaitu lingkungan masyarakat dan pergaulan siswa. Komunikasi dan koordinasi dengan pelaku-pelaku pengembangan moral seperti pihak sekolah, orang tua siswa, dan lembaga keagamaan serta edukasi dan desiminasi dalam bentuk interaksi dengan orang tua merupakan upaya mengatasi hambatan dalam menanamkan moral siswa yang dikehendaki Kata Kunci: Pembelajaran penanaman moral dan mengembangkan watak kewarganegaraan (civic disposition) ABSTRACT Student Moral Learning in Developing Citizenship Competency (Civic Disposition) (Case Study on Students of SMPN 1 Peundeuy Garut) PKN is one of the subjects that is more significant in transmitting the development of moral values in everyday life. Because of this, PKN teachers in particular really need their roles as designers, role models and motivators in the learning process in the classroom. The purpose of this study is to generally know the learning of moral inculcation in developing civic disposition in students at SMPN 1 Peundeuy. The research approach used is a qualitative case study. Data collection techniques include observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis techniques performed include data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. In addition, data validity checking techniques will be carried out including credibility, transferability and dependability. The research subjects were PPKn teachers and junior high school students located at SMPN 1 Peundeuy, Garut Regency. The results of the study showed that learning to cultivate morals in developing civic disposition was very effective for students at SMPN 1 Peundeuy Garut. This can be seen from the teacher's ability to organize learning components and apply approaches to inculcating moral values that impact the potential for a more developed civic position. The implementation of civic disposition learning in the eyes of Civics at SMPN 1 Peundeuy in instilling morals is in line with the moral learning model according to Bandura. The use of habituation and imitation methods. Habituation is shown by applying rewards and punishments. Meanwhile, imitation can be seen by Civics teachers designing themselves as models in behavior and playing students as models. The dominant media used in learning moral character of citizenship (civic disposition). Namely exemplary video media, inspirational stories, and biographical videos of figures. Factors that inhibit moral cultivation in civic disposition learning are the community environment and student association. Communication and coordination with moral development actors such as schools, parents of students, and religious institutions as well as education and dissemination in the form of interactions with parents are efforts to overcome obstacles in instilling the desired student morals Keywords: Learning moral inculcation and developing civic character (civic disposition)
