Abstract

ABSTRAK Pendidikan tidak hanya berfokus kepada ranah kognitif namun juga pada ranah kepribadian, ranah afektif dan juga ranah psikomotorik yang akan membentuk life skill untuk diimplementasikan dalam dunia kerja. Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh banyaknya anak dengan hambatan kecerdasan yang tidak mendapatkan kesempatan untuk bekerja setelah lulus. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menyusun rancangan program kemitraan sekolah dengan dunia usaha, sehingga terciptanya kemitraan atau kerjasama antara sekolah dengan dunia usaha sebagai upaya meningkatkan kesempatan kerja bagi anak dengan hambatan kecerdasan. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan teknik wawancara dan observasi Teknik analisis data yang digunakan yaitu pengumpulan data, reduksi data, penyajian data dan kesimpulan. Subjek pada penelitian ini yaitu anak dengan hambatan kecerdasan kelas XII di SLBN Garut yang akan segera menghadapi dunia kerja. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah ditemukannya fakta bahwa sekolah belum menghantarkan lulusan anak dengan hambatan kecerdasan ke dunia kerja. Oleh karena itu, peneliti merekomendasikan program kemitraan antara sekolah dengan dunia usaha sebagai upaya meningkatkan kesempatan kerja bagi anak dengan hambatan kecerdasan lulusan SMALBC. Kata kunci : Kemitraan, anak dengan hambatan kecerdasan, kesempatan kerja. ABSTRACK Education does not only focus on the cognitive domain but also on the personality, affective and psychomotor domains which will form life skills to be implemented in the world of work. This research is motivated by the large number of children with intellectual disabilities who do not get the opportunity to work after graduation. The purpose of this research is to design a school partnership program with the business world, so that a partnership or cooperation between schools and the business world is created as an effort to increase job opportunities for children with intellectual disabilities. The method used in this study is a descriptive qualitative approach. Data collection techniques in this study used interview and observation techniques. The data analysis techniques used were data collection, data reduction, data presentation and conclusions. The subjects in this study were children with class XII intelligence barriers at SLBN Garut who would soon face the world of work. The result of this research is the fact that schools have not delivered graduates with intellectual disabilities into the world of work. Therefore, the researchers recommend a partnership program between schools and the business world as an effort to increase job opportunities for children with intellectual disabilities who graduate from SMALBC.
