Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh adanya kemampuan siswa dalam menulis sisindiran yang tergolong masih kurang mampu. Penelitian ini mempunya tujuan untuk mengdeskripsikan kemampuan siswa dalam menulis sisindiran sebelum dan sesudah menggunakan media Monosin serta ada perbedaan yang signifikan antara kemampuan menulis sisindiran siswa kelas VIII-A SMP PGRI 4 Cimahi tahun ajaran 2022/2023 sebelum dan sesudah menggunakan media Monosin. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif kuasi eksperimen kepada siswa kelas VIII-A SMP PGRI 4 Cimahi tahun ajaran 2022/2023 dengan cara menggunakan desain pre-test dan post-test. Teknik yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu menggunakan teknik tes. Data yang telah dikumpulkan selanjutnya dianalisis menggunakan IBM SPSS Statistics 25. Menurut hasil penelitian, kemampuan siswa dalam menulis sisindiran sebelum menggunakan media Monosin tergolong belum mampu dan kemampuan siswa dalam menulis sisindiran sesudah menggunakan media Monosin tergolong sudah mampu. Hasil data uji hipotesis menunjukkan bahwa penelitian ini terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan terhadap kemampuan menulis sisindiran siswa kelas VIII-A SMP PGRI 4 Cimahi tahun ajaran 2022/2023 sebelum dan sesudah menggunakan media Monosin. This research is motivated by the existence of students' ability in writing satire which is classified as still less capable. This study has a purpose to describe students' ability to write satire before and after using Monosine media and there is a significant difference between students' ability to write satire in grades VIII-A SMP PGRI 4 Cimahi in the 2022/2023 academic year before and after using Monosine media. This study uses a quasi-experimental quantitative method for class VIII-A SMP PGRI 4 Cimahi for the academic year 2022/2023 by using pre-test and post-test designs. The technique used in this study is to use a test technique. The data that has been collected is then analyzed using IBM SPSS Statistics 25. According to the results of the study, student's ability to write satire before using Monosine media is classified as not capable and students' ability to write satire after using Monosine media is classified as already able. The results of the hypothesis test data show that this study significant difference in the ability to write sisindiran for grade VIII-A SMP PGRI 4 Cimahi students in the 2022/2023 academic year before and after using Monosine media.
