Abstract
Berdasarkan observasi pendahuluan di SLBN Cileunyi, ditemukan banyaknya kesalahan pengucapan bunyi bahasa pada anak dengan hambatan pendengaran kelas 3 SD. Hal ini terjadi dikarenakan dampak dari kehilangan pendengaran yang dialami mereka, sehingga sulit untuk menangkap bunyi bahasa dilingkungannya, selain itu organ artikulasi mereka juga kaku karena jarang dialatih untuk mengucapkan fonem tertentu. Sekolah telah mengupayakan permasalahan ini dengan melaksanakan pembelajaran bina komunikasi khususnya pada latihan pengucapan bunyi bahasa yang terintegrasi dalam kegiatan pembelajaran, namun dalam perencanaan dan pelaksanaan pembelajarannya masih kurang optimal. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengembangkan program pembelajaran pengucapan bunyi bahasa pada anak dengan hambatan pendengaran kelas 3 SD di SLBN Cileunyi agat guru dalam melaksanakan pembelajaran pengucapan bunyi bahasa secara lebih terencana dan berdasarkan kebutuhan anak. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan desain penelitian studi kasus. Teknik pengumpulan data berupa wawancara, observasi, dan tes lisan kemampuan pengucapan bunyi bahasa. Program dikembangkan berdasarkan kajian secara empirik dan teoritik. Secara empirik dengan mengkaji data terkait profil kemampuan anak, program dan pelaksanaan pembelajaran pengucapan bunyi bahasa yang dilaksanakan di SLBN Cileunyi, sedangkan secara teoritik dengan mengkaji teori dan referensi mengenai pelaksanaan bina wicara pada anak dengan hambatan pendengaran. Program dikembangkan dengan ruang lingkup berupa latihan pemanasan organ artikulasi dan pernapasan, latihan pembentukan fonem, dan latihan perbaikan fonem. Materi yang diajarkan berupa latihan fonem /t/, /s/, /c/, /k/, dan /g/. Selanjutnya program divalidasi oleh tiga ahli di bidang pendidikan khusus bagi anak dengan hambatan pendengaran. Program yang telah divalidasi dilaksanakan oleh guru kelas bersama anak dengan hambatan pendengaran yang menjadi subjek penelitian. Pada pelaksanaan program, yakni dengan materi latihan pengucapan fonem /t/ Guru dan anak dapat melaksanakan pembelajaran sesuai dengan langkah-langkah dalam program yang telah dikembangkan. Melalui program ini diharapkan guru dapat melaksanakan pembelajaran pengucapan bunyi bahasa dengan baik dan bagi peneliti selanjutnya diharapkan dapat mengungkapkan lebih banyak lagi terkait dengan penelitian ini seperti pengembangan program dengan fonem lainnya dan menguji efektivitas dari pelaksanaan program tersebut. Kata Kunci: Program pembelajaran, Pengucapan bunyi bahasa, Anak dengan hambatan pendengaran Based on preliminary observations at the Cileunyi SLBN, it was found that there were many phoneme pronunciation errors in children with hearing impairment in grade 3 elementary school. This happens because of the impact of hearing loss they experience, making it difficult to catch phonemes in their environment, besides that their articulation organs are also stiff because they are rarely trained to pronounce certain phonemes. The school has been working on this problem by implementing communication development learning, especially in phoneme pronunciation exercises that are integrated with learning activities, but in planning and implementing learning it is still not optimal. The purpose of this study was to develop a phoneme pronunciation learning program for children with hearing impairment in grade 3 elementary school at SLBN Cileunyi so that teachers can carry out learning to pronounce phonemes in a more planned manner and based on children's needs. This research uses a qualitative approach with a case study research design. Data collection techniques in the form of interviews, observations, and oral tests of phoneme pronunciation abilities. The program is developed based on empirical and theoretical studies. Empirically by examining data related to the profile of children's abilities, programs and implementation of phoneme pronunciation learning carried out at SLBN Cileunyi, while theoretically by examining theories and references regarding the implementation of speech development in children with hearing impairments. The program was developed with a scope of warm-up exercises for articulation and breathing organs, phoneme formation exercises, and phoneme improvement exercises. The material taught is in the form of phoneme exercises /t/, /s/, /c/, /k/, and /g/. Furthermore, the program was validated by three experts in the field of special education for children with hearing impairments. The program that has been validated is carried out by the classroom teacher together with children with hearing impairments who are the subject of the study. In the implementation of the program, namely with practice material for pronouncing the phoneme /t/, the teacher and children can carry out learning according to the steps in the program that has been developed. Through this program, it is hoped that teachers can carry out learning phoneme pronunciation well and further researchers are expected to reveal more related to this research such as developing programs with other phonemes and testing the effectiveness of the program implementation.
