Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh kurangnya kemampuan siswa dalam menulis carita pondok. Siswa belum mampu mencari idé, baik dalam strukturnya dan aspék kebahasaannya. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan kemampuan pretest, posttest dan bedanya kemampuan menulis carita pondok berdasarkan hasil pretest dan posttest menggunakan model brainwriting. Metode yang digunakan adalah kuasi eksperimen, serta menggunakan desain pretest￾posttest, sedangkan sumber data yang digunakan adalah 28 siswa kelas XI IPS 4 SMA Negeri 24 Bandung Tahun Ajaran 2021/2022. Teknik yang digunakan adalah teknik tes, sedangkan instrumennya adalah tes menulis carita pondok. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah (1) kemampuan menulis carita pondok berdasarkan hasil pretest menggunakan modél brainwriting dengan rata-rata 55,48, (2) kemampuan menulis carita pondok berdasarkan hasil posttest menggunakan modél brainwriting dengan rata-rata 85,08, (3) serta beda singinifikan antara kemampuh menulis carita pondok berdasarkan hasil pretest dan posttest menggunakan model brainwriting. Berdasarkan hasil uji statistika (Sig-2-tailed) yaitu (0,000 ≤ 0,05) atau kurang dari 0,005. Bisa disimpulkan bahwa Ha diterima sedangkan H0 ditolak. Ada beda siginifikan antara kemampuan menulis carita pondok pretest dan posttest menggunakan model brainwriting. Artinya model brainwriting bisa meningkatkan kemampuan menulis carita pondok siswa kelas XI IPS 4 SMA Negeri 24 Bandung Tahun Ajaran 2021/2022. This research is motivated by the lack of students' ability in writing stories of the cottage. Students have not been able to find ideas, both in its structure and linguistic aspects. The purpose of this study was to describe the ability of pretest, posttest and the difference in the ability to write stories of the cottage based on the results of the pretest and posttest using the brainwriting model. The method used is quasi￾experimental, and uses a pretest-posttest design, while the data sources used are 28 students of class XI IPS 4 SMA Negeri 24 Bandung in the 2021/2022 academic year. The technique used is a test technique, while the instrument is a writing test for the story of the cottage. The results of this study are (1) the ability to write stories of the cottage based on the results of the pretest using the brainwriting modelwith an average of 55.48, (2) the ability towrite the stories of the c ottage based onthe results of the posttest using the brainwriting model with an average of 85.08, (3) and a significant difference between the ability to write stories of the cottage based on the results of the pretest and posttest using the brainwriting model. Based on the results of statistical tests(Sig-2-tailed) that is(0.000 0.05) orlessthan 0.005. It can be concluded that Ha is accepted while H0 is rejected. There is a significant difference between the ability to write stories of Pondok pretest and posttest using the brainwriting model. This means that the brainwriting model can improve the ability to write stories for the students of class XI IPS 4 SMA Negeri 24 Bandung for the 2021/2022 academic year.
