Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh media pembelajaran matematika materi
perkalian di sekolah dasar yang kurang optimal. Sehingga banyak peserta didik
yang kurang menyukai perkalian. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk
mengembangkan media pembelajaran dengan nama PATIPELA pada materi
operasi hitung perkalian bilangan cacah di kelas II sekolah dasar. Jenis penelitian
yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu metode DBR (Design Based Research).
Dengan partisipan peserta didik kelas II A, II B, dan II C SD Negeri 1 Banjar dengan
jumlah 72 orang. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan yang digunakan yaitu
wawancara, observasi, angket, validasi ahli, dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data
yang digunakan yaitu analisis data kualitatif induktif. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian
memperoleh validasi dari para ahli dengan persentase 80%, 90% dan 92,5%. Uji
coba yang dilakukan mendapatkan hasil persentase sangat setuju dengan persentase
61%. Persentase untuk peserta didik yang merespon setuju yaitu 38% dan peserta
didik yang memilih kurang setuju yaitu sebanyak 0,5%.dan 0,5% yang memilih
tidak setuju. Dengan demikian diharapkan media PATIPELA layak untuk
digunakan dalam pembelajaran matematika pada materi operasi hitung perkalian
bilangan cacah di kelas II sekolah dasar.

This research is motivated by the learning media of mathematics
multiplication material in elementary schools which is less than optimal. So that
many students do not like multiplication. The purpose of this study was to develop
a learning media with the name PATIPELA on the material for counting operations
on multiplication of whole numbers in grade II elementary school. The type of
research used in this study is the DBR (Design Based Research) method. With the
participants of class II A, II B, and II C SD Negeri 1 Banjar with a total of 72
people. The data collection techniques used are interviews, observations,
questionnaires, expert validation, and documentation. The data analysis technique
used is inductive qualitative data analysis. Based on the results of the study
obtained validation from experts with a percentage of 80%, 90% and 92.5%. The
trials carried out got the results of the percentage strongly agree with the
percentage of 61%. The percentage for students who respond agree is 38% and
students who choose not agree are as much as 0.5% and 0.5% who choose to
disagree. Thus, it is hoped that the PATIPELA media is suitable for use in learning
mathematics on the material of counting operations on multiplication of whole
numbers in grade II elementary school.
