Abstract

Bullying merupakan tindakkan tidak terpuji berbentuk kekarasan maupun pelecehan yang dilakukan secara sengaja maupun tidak sengaja oleh seseorang ataupun kelompok orang yang memiliki kuasa atau kekuatan untuk melakukan penindasan pada pihak lain yang dianggap memiliki tingkatan derajat lebih rendah daripada mereka. Bullying dapat terjadi dimana saja, tidak menutup kemungkinan sekolah sebagai lembaga pendidikan bebas dari aksi bully, terbentuknya perilaku bullying sendiri dapat disebabkan kaena adanya penindasan dan pemaksaan terhadap korban sehingga korban merasa tidak aman, takut, dan teraniaya. Bullying tidak selalu bisa dirasakan dan dilihat secara jelas seperti bullying fisik atau bullying verbal, adapula bullying sosial atau relational bullying yang dimana jenis bully ini lebih sulit dikenali karena dampak yang ditimbulkan pun tidak terlihat namun cukup berefek pada psikologi korban. Relational bullying merupakan tindakan agresi yang dilakukan dengan cara menjauhi atau menghindari korban, menggunjingkan, hingga mengasingkan individu dari lingkungan sosialnya. Korban relational bullying akan merasa bahwa ia tidak diinginkan di tempat tersebut karena orang-orang tidak ada yang mau berteman dan berdekatan dengannya. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui faktor apa saja yang menyebabkan siswa menjadi korban relational bullying, bagaimana pola interaksi siswa yang menjadi korban atau pelaku relational bullying, mengetahui bagaimana dampak relational bullying dan langkah apa yang dilakukan pihak sekolah untuk mencegah dan mengatasi relational bullying. Penelitian dilakukan secara kualitatif dengan studi deskriptif. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan teknik observasi, wawancara, dan studi dokumentasi. Informan penelitian yaitu guru, dan siswa kelas delapan MTs Negeri 4 Bandung Barat. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa siswa yang diidentifikasi menjadi korban relational bullying diantaranya karena siswa tersebut sulit diajak bergaul, memiliki latar belakang keluarga yang kurang mampu, latar belakang keluarga yang baik sehingga membuat siswa-siswi disekitarnya merasa iri dengan pencapaiannya. Tidak semua korban dan pelaku relational bullying adalah siswa yang nakal dan mengetahui bahwa tindakan mereka adalah salah satu jenis bullying. Dampak relational bullying tidak terlihat secara kasat mata namun sangat berpengaruh bagi korban maupun pelaku. Penanganan sekolah terhadap siswa yang terkait kasus bullying masih belum maksimal. Bullying is a dishonorable act in the form of violence or harassment that is done intentionally or unintentionally by a person or group of people who have the power or power to carry out oppression on other parties who are deemed to have lower degrees than they are. Bullying can occur anywhere, it does not rule out the possibility that schools as educational institutions are free from bullying, the formation of bullying itself can be caused by oppression and coercion of victims so that victims feel insecure, fearful, and persecuted. Bullying can not only be felt and seen clearly such as physical bullying or verbal bullying, there are social bullying or relational bullying in which this type of bully is more difficult to recognize because the impact is not seen but it has quite an effect on the psychology of the victim. Relational bullying is an act of aggression carried out by avoiding, gossiping, and alienating individuals from their social environment. Victims of relational bullying will feel that they are not wanted in that place because people don't want to be friends and be close to them. This research was conducted to find out what factors caused students to become victims of relational bullying, teacher and student knowledge about bullying behavior in schools, especially relational bullying, and to know what steps were taken by the school to prevent and overcome relational bullying. The study was conducted qualitatively with descriptive studies. Data collection is done by observation, interview, and documentation study. Research informants are teachers, and second grade students of MTs Negeri 4 West Bandung. The results of this study indicate that students who are identified as victims of relational bullying are these students whose difficult getting along with their friends, have a poor family background, and have a good family background so that the other students feel jealous of their achievements. We also found that not all victims and perpetrators of relational bullying are students who are naughty and know that their actions are a type of bullying. The impact of relational bullying is not visible physically but is giving both victims and perpetrators bad results such as damage on their mental state. The school wasn’t good at handling the situation involving relational bullying.
