Abstract

Model pembelajaran tentunya sangat berkaitan dengan hasil belajar yang
dicapai, oleh karena itu untuk mencapai hasil belajar yang optimal, diperlukan
model pembelajaran yang tepat. Namun faktanya, yang terjadi di SMK PU Negeri
Bandung, tidak sedikit siswa yang belum mencapai hasil belajar yang optimal,
khususnya siswa kelas X DPIB dalam mata pelajaran dasar-dasar konstruksi.
Sehingga perlu adanya upaya yang diharapkan bisa meningkatkan hasil belajar
siswa mengenai materi yang dibahas, yaitu dengan penerapan model pembelajaran
Auditory, Inttellectually, Repetition (AIR). Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu untuk
mengetahui peningkatan hasil belajar siswa dan mengetahui efektivitas penerapan
model pembelajaran Auditory, Intellectually, Repetition (AIR) dalam
meningkatkan hasil belajar pada mata pelajaran dasar-dasar konstruksi di SMK
PU Negeri Bandung.
Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian eksperimental dengan pendekatan
kuantitatif dan kualitatif. Desain penelitian yang digunakan adalah Quasi
Experimental Design dengan bentuk Nonequivalent Control Group Design.
Sampel pada penelitian ini berjumlah 72 siswa kelas X DPIB SMK PU Negeri
Bandung. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah dengan pemberian
pretest dan posttest serta angket tertutup. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, diketahui
peningkatan hasil belajar pada kelas eksperimen dengan metode n-gain termasuk
ke dalam kategori sedang. Hal tersebut menunjukkan bahwa penerapan model
pembelajaran Auditory, Intellectually, Repetition (AIR) dalam meningkatkan hasil
belajar mata pelajaran dasar-dasar konstruksi di SMK PU Negeri Bandung
termasuk kategori sedang. Sementara berdasarkan hasil analisis data angket,
menunjukkan bahwa penerapan model pembelajaran Auditory, Intellectually,
Repetition (AIR) dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar mata pelajaran dasar-dasar
konstruksi termasuk kategori sangat efektif.

The learning model is certainly closely related to the learning outcomes
achieved, therefore to achieve optimal learning outcomes, an appropriate learning
model is needed. But in fact, what happened at SMK PU Negeri Bandung, not a
few students who have not achieved optimal learning outcomes, especially
students of class X DPIB in the basics of construction subjects. So there needs to
be an effort that is expected to improve student learning outcomes regarding the
material discussed, namely by applying the Auditory, Intellectually, Repetition
(AIR) learning model. The purpose of this study is to determine the increase in
student learning outcomes and determine the effectiveness of the implementation
of the Auditory, Intellectually, Repetition (AIR) learning model in improving
learning outcomes in the basics of construction subjects at SMK PU Negeri
Bandung.
This research is an experimental research with quantitative and qualitative
approaches. The research design used was Quasi Experimental Design in the form
of Nonequivalent Control Group Design. The sample in this study amounted to 72
students of class X DPIB SMK PU Negeri Bandung. The data collection
technique used is the provision of pretest and posttest as well as a closed
questionnaire. Based on the results of the study, it is known that the increase in
learning outcomes in the experimental class with the n-gain method is 0.62. This
shows that the application of the Auditory, Intellectually, Repetition (AIR)
learning model in improving learning outcomes basics of construction subjects at
SMK PU Negeri Bandung is in the medium category. Meanwhile, based on the
results of the questionnaire data analysis, an average value of 85% was obtained.
This shows that the application of the Auditory, Intellectually, Repetition (AIR)
learning model in improving the learning outcomes of the construction basics
subject is in the very effective category.
