Abstract

Permasalahan yang dikaji dalam penelitian ini yaitu kurang optimalnya prestasi belajar siswa kelas XI Geomatika SMKN 5 Bandung yang ditinjau dari aspek lingkungan sekolah. Dalam Penelitian ini terdapat dua variabel yaitu lingkungan sekolah serta prestasi belajar siswa dengan mata pelajaran Survey Terestris. Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu mengetahui gambaran umum lingkungan sekolah di SMKN 5 Bandung, mengetahui gambaran umum prestasi belajar siswa di SMKN 5 Bandung dan mengetahui pengaruh lingkungan sekolah terhadap prestasi belajar siswa di SMKN 5 Bandung. Penelitian ini dilakukan karena capaian prestasi belajar siswa mengalami penurunan nilai, padahal alat pelajaran dan kondisi ruang kelas dirasa cukup dan sesuai spesifikasi. Metode yang digunakan ialah metode deskriptif dengan pendekatan kuantitatif, instrumen pengumpulan data yang digunakan berupa angket, dokumentasi serta observasi. Jumlah responden dalam penelitian ini sejumlah 84 responden yang merupakan siswa kelas XI Geomatika SMKN 5 Bandung. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan yaitu analisis regresi sederhana. Berdasarkan hasil pengolahan data menunjukkan bahwa gambaran lingkungan sekolah termasuk dalam ketegori cukup dan gambaran prestasi belajar siswa termasuk dalam kategori baik. Hasil dari perhitungan uji signifikansi regresi adalah lingkungan sekolah memiliki pengaruh yang positif dan signifikan terhadap prestasi belajar siswa. Hal ini dapat dibuktikan dari hasil perhitungan thitung > ttabel dengan nilai 35,71 > 1,665. Besar pengaruh dibuktikan dari hasil perhitungan regresi sederhana dengan persamaan Y ̂=3,503+0,9398 X . Maka dari itu, prestasi belajar siswa dapat ditingkatkan melalui lingkungan sekolah. ----------------------------------------------------------------- The problem studied in this research is the less than optimal learning achievement of students in class XI Geomatics at SMKN 5 Bandung in terms of the school environment. In this study, there are two variables, namely the school environment and student learning achievement with the subjects of Terrestrial Survey. The purpose of this research is to know the general description of the school environment at SMKN 5 Bandung, to know the general description of student achievement at SMKN 5 Bandung and to know the influence of the school environment on student achievement at SMKN 5 Bandung. This research was conducted because the achievement of students' learning achievement decreased in value, even though the learning tools and classroom conditions were deemed sufficient and according to specifications. The method used is a descriptive method with a quantitative approach, the data collection instruments used are questionnaires, documentation and observations. The number of respondents in this study were 84 respondents who were students of class XI Geomatics at SMKN 5 Bandung. The data analysis technique used is simple regression analysis. Based on the results of data processing shows that the description of the school environment is included in the adequate category and the description of student learning achievement is included in the good category. The result of the calculation of the regression significance test is that the school environment has a positive and significant influence on student achievement. This can be proven from the results of the calculation of tcount > ttable with a value of 35.32 > 1.665. The magnitude of the effect is proven from the results of simple regression calculations with the equation Y =3,503+0,9398 X . Therefore, student learning achievement can be improved through the school environment.
