Abstract

ABSTRAK Kecerdasan emosi merupakan upaya dan kemampuan yang dapat mengendalikan perasaan diri sendiri, serta menggunakan perasaan tersebut untuk memandu pikiran dan tindakan. Ketika siswa sudah memahami kecerdasan emosinya maka akan mudah menempatkan emosinya pada porsi yang tepat, memilih kepuasan dan mengatur suasana hati sehingga dapat memahami perasaannya. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui dan menganalisis (1) Profil kecerdasan emosi siswa; (2) Mengembangkan program bimbingan kelompok dengan teknik sosiodrama untuk meningkatkan kecerdasan emosi; dan (3) Menganalisis perbedaan rata-rata kecerdasan emosi siswa antara sebelum dan sesudah diberikan bimbingan kelompok dengan teknik sosiodrama. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode kuasi eksperimen dengan sampel penelitian 20 siswa. Proses pengumpulan data menggunakan angket kecerdasan emosi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa (1) Profil kecerdasan emosi siswa berada pada kategori sedang; (2) Program yang dikembangkan berupa layanan bimbingan kelompok dengan teknik sosiodrama dalam penelitian ini difokuskan untuk meningkatkan kecerdasan emosi siswa; dan (3) Terdapat perbedaan rata-rata skor antara sebelum dan sesudah diberikan bimbingan kelompok dengan teknik sosiodrama yaitu sebesar 10,7. Perbedaan ini menunjukkan peningkatan kecerdasan emosi sebesar 34,15%. Sementara pada kelompok kontrol tidak mengalami peningkatan. Implikasi pada penelitian ini, yaitu program bimbingan kelompok dengan teknik sosiodrama dapat diterapkan dalam meningkatkan kecerdasan emosi siswa. ABSTRACT Emotional intelligence is one of the important things for students. Emotional intelligence is an effort and ability that can control one's own feelings, and use these feelings to guide thoughts and actions. When students understand their emotional intelligence, it will be easy to put their emotions in the right portion, choose satisfaction and set the mood so that they can understand their feelings. The purpose of this study was to determine and analyze (1) the profile of students' emotional intelligence; (2) Developing a group guidance program with sociodrama techniques to improve emotional intelligence; and (3) Analyzing the average difference in students' emotional intelligence between before and after being given group guidance with sociodrama techniques to improve emotional intelligence in class X MAN 2 Bandung Regency, 2021/2022 Academic Year. The approach in this research uses a quantitative approach with the method used is quasi-experimental. The process of collecting data using an emotional intelligence questionnaire. The results showed that (1) the students' emotional intelligence profile was in the medium category; (2) The program developed in the form of group guidance services with sociodrama techniques in this study is focused on increasing students' emotional intelligence; and (3) There is an average difference of 10.7 and the results of the increase in the pre-test score to the post-test, the experimental group experienced an increase of 34.15% and the pre-test post-test score of the control group did not increase. The implications of this research are expected to apply a group guidance service program with sociodrama techniques to improve students' emotional intelligence at school.
