Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatar belakangi oleh kini manusia hidup berada di masa peralihan ke society 5.0 dimana informasi sebagai kebutuhan. Selain itu juga berada di masa pandemi COVID-19 yang mana sulit datang ke perpustakaan konvensional untuk mendapatkan informasi karena aktivitas terbatas. Untuk mengatasi hal tersebut, salah satu solusinya dengan menggunakan perpustakaan digital. Pemerintah Provinsi Jawa Barat khususnya Dinas Perpustakaan dan Kearsipan Daerah Provinsi Jawa Barat memiliki aplikasi perpustakaan digital yang bernama Candil (Maca Dina Digital Library), aplikasi Candil menunjukkan peningkatan pengguna selama pandemi COVID-19. Tujuan penelitian ini ialah untuk mengetahui bagaimana persepsi pemustaka dalam menggunakaan aplikasi Candil (Maca Dina Digital Library) selama masa pandemi COVID-19. Teori atau model yang digunakan pada penelitian ini ialah Technology Acceptance Model (TAM). Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif deskriptif dengan metode survei, dimana dalam mengumpulkan datanya menyebarkan kuesioner kepada responden yaitu pemustaka/pengguna aplikasi Candil yang menggunakaan selama pandemi COVID-19. Teknik pengambilan sampel pada penelitian ini termasuk teknik probability sampling yaitu simple random sampling. Analisis data penelitian ini menggunakan statistik deskriptif. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan persepsi pemustaka dalam penggunaan aplikasi Candil (Maca Dina Digital Library) di masa pandemi COVID-19 sudah baik, dibuktikan dengan hasil penelitian dari responden berdasarkan aspek perceived usefulness (kebermanfaatan) dan aspek perceived ease of use (kemudahan penggunaan) menunjukkan pada kategori Baik dan Sangat Baik. Pemustaka setuju bahwa dengan menggunakan koleksi yang tersedia pada aplikasi Candil dapat mempercepat pekerjaan, meningkatkan kinerja, meningkatkan produktivitas, memiliki efektivitas, mempermudah pekerjaan, dan bermanfaat saat digunakan selama pandemi COVID-19. Pemustaka juga setuju bahwa aplikasi Candil dapat mudah dipelajari, dapat dikontrol, jelas dan dapat dipahami, fleksibel, mudah mahir, dan mudah digunakan. This study was based on a phenomenon that nowadays, humans live in a transition period into society 5.0, where information is a necessity. Moreover, human is also in the COVID-19 pandemic, in which it is difficult to come to the conventional library to obtain information due to limited activity. To overcome this problem, one of the solutions is by using a digital library. West Java Provincial Government, especially the Library and Archives Agency of West Java Province, has a digital library application named Candil (Maca Dina Digital Library). Candil application shows the increase of users during the COVID-19 pandemic. Therefore, the aim of this study is to find out how the perception of users in using the Candil (Maca Dina Digital Library) application during the COVID-19 pandemic. The theory used in this study was Technology Acceptance Model (TAM). This study used a descriptive quantitative approach with a survey method. In collecting data, the researcher disseminated questionnaires to the respondents, in this case, users of the Candil application who used it during the COVID-19 pandemic. The sampling technique in this study is including in probability sampling, which was simple random sampling. Data analysis of this study used descriptive statistics. The results of the study showed that the perception of users in using Candil (Maca Dina Digital Library) during the COVID-19 pandemic was good. It was proved by the findings that showed both perceived usefulness and perceived ease of use aspects have good and excellent results respectively according to the respondents experience. Users agreed that using collections available in the Candil application can work more quickly, improve job performance, increase productivity, have affectiveness, makes job easier, and be useful when used during the COVID-19 pandemic. Users also agreed that the Candil application is easy to learn, controllable, clear and understandable, flexible, easy to become skillful, and easy to use.
