Abstract

Dalam penelitian ini dilatar belakangi oleh permasalahan kinerja karyawan Novotel Hotel Bandung khususnya pada departemen food & beverage yang mengalami penurunan selama kurun waktu dua tahun selama masa pandemi ini, dilihat dari penilaian tamu dari berbagai online travel agent. Dengan penurunan kinerja yang dialami oleh karyawan Novotel Hotel Bandung, bila dibiarkan terus menerus maka akan berdampak terhadap terhambatnya berbagai macam proses bisnis diperusahaan. Banyak faktor yang mempengaruhi kinerja karyawan yang salah satunya menarik peneliti adalah kepuasan kerja. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui gambaran kepuasan kerja, dan kinerja karyawan di Novotel Hotel Bandung departemen food & beverage dan juga menganallisis pengaruh kepuasan kerja terhadap kinerja karyawan. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan penyebaran kuesioner kepada 39 karyawan menggunakan teknik jenuh yaitu seluruh populasi dijadikan sampel penelitian. Teknik analisis deskriptif dan analisis linear berganda digunakan untuk menjawab rumusan masalah penelitian. Analisis data dilakukan menggunakan software IBM SPSS Statistic 22. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa kepuasan kerja memiliki pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan sebesar 31,9%. Hasil dari analisis linier berganda dalam penelitian ini menyatakan bahwa Kepuasan Kerja secara signifikan berpengaruh terhadap kinerja karyawan food & beverage Novotel Hotel Bandung baik secara silmultan atau bersama maupun secara parsial atau masing masing. This research is motivated by the problem of the performance of Novotel Hotel Bandung employees, especially in the food & beverage department, which has decreased for a period of two years during this pandemic, seen from guest ratings from various online travel agents. With the decline in performance experienced by Novotel Hotel Bandung employees, if it is allowed to continue it will have an impact on the inhibition of various kinds of business processes in the company. Many factors affect employee performance, one of which attracts researchers is job satisfaction. The purpose of this study was to describe job satisfaction and employee performance at the Novotel Hotel Bandung department of food & beverage and also to analyze the effect of job satisfaction on employee performance. Data was collected by distributing questionnaires to 39 employees using the saturation technique, namely the entire population was used as the research sample. Descriptive analysis techniques and multiple linear analysis were used to answer the research problem formulation. Data analysis was performed using IBM SPSS Statistic 22 software. The results of this study indicate that job satisfaction has a significant effect on employee performance by 31.9%. The results of the multiple linear analysis in this study state that job satisfaction significantly affects the performance of food & beverage employees at Novotel Hotel Bandung either simultaneously or together or artificially or individually.
