Abstract

Pengelolaan program pelatihan merupakan salah satu faktor keberhasilan UPTD BLK Kabupaten Subang dalam penganugrahan Pelatihan Vokasi Award (PVA) tahun 2021. Program pelatihan menjahit adalah program pelatihan yang banyak diminati oleh masyarakat karena memiliki peluang kerja yang cukup luas. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui sejauh mana pengelolaan program pelatihan menjahit dapat meningkatkan kompetensi dasar peserta pelatihan di UPTD BLK Kabupaten Subang. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif dengan teknik pengumpulan data yaitu wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian ini diperoleh bahwa 1) pada tahap perencanaan, pengelola melakukan identifikasi kebutuhan, menyusun tujuan, kurikulum, strategi, alat evaluasi, sarana dan prasarana pelatihan bersama instruktur, serta pembiayaan pelatihan, 2) pada tahap pengorganisasian, pengelola membentuk tim rekrutmen, tim keuangan, tim sarana dann prasana, tim pelaporan, serta instruktur sebagai pelaksana pelatihan, dimana setiap tim bekerja sesuai dengan jadwal penyelenggaraan pelatihan, 3) pada tahap pelaksanaan, instruktur memberikan pengajaran, membimbing, dan memotivasi peserta agar semangat mengikuti pelatihan sampai program selesai, kemudian selama pelatihan peserta aktif dan memiliki motivasi belajar untuk menambah kemampuan dalam menjahit, kemudian sumber dan media belajar juga sesuai dengan kebutuhan serta dapat digunakan dengan baik oleh peserta pelatihan, 4) pada tahap evaluasi, pengelola melaksanakan evaluasi pembelajaran diakhir program yang berupa soal- soal dan praktik. Selain itu pengelola juga melaksanakan evaluasi program untuk melihat efektifitas penyelenggaraan program, peserta juga mengikuti uji kompetensi yang diselenggarakan oleh pusat untuk memperoleh sertifikat profesi. Hasil penyelenggaraan pelatihan menjahit yaitu adanya peningkatan pengetahuan, keterampilan, serta sikap yang peserta rasakan setelah mengikuti pelatihan. Kata kunci : pengelolaan, perencanaan, pengoorganisasian, pelaksanaan, evaluasi ABSTRACT MANAGEMENT OF SEWING TRAINING PROGRAM TO INCREASE BASIC COMPETENCY OF TRAINING PARTICIPANTS AT UPTD WORK TRAINING CENTER, SUBANG REGENCY Nindi Dwi Oktaviani (1808314) COMMUNITY EDUCATION Email : nindidwio02@upi.edu The management of the training program is one of the success factors for the Subang Regency UPTD BLK in awarding the Vocational Training Award (PVA) in 2021. The sewing training program is a training program that is in great demand by the community because it has wide job opportunities. This study aims to determine the extent to which the management of the sewing training program can improve the basic competencies of the trainees at UPTD BLK Subang Regency. This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach with data collection techniques, namely interviews, observation, and documentation. The results of this study showed that 1) at the planning stage, the manager identified needs, set goals, curriculum, strategies, evaluation tools, training facilities and infrastructure with instructors, as well as training financing, 2) at the organizing stage, the manager formed a recruitment team, finance team , facilities and infrastructure team, reporting team, as well as instructors as training implementers, where each team works according to the training schedule, 3) at the implementation stage, the instructor provides teaching, guiding, and motivating participants to be enthusiastic about participating in the training until the program is completed, then during training participants are active and have learning motivation to increase their ability in sewing, then learning resources and media are also in accordance with the needs and can be used properly by trainees, 4) at the evaluation stage, the manager carries out a learning evaluation at the end of the program in the form of questions and practice . In addition, managers also carry out program evaluations to see the effectiveness of program implementation, participants also take competency tests organized by the center to obtain professional certificates. The result of the implementation of sewing training is an increase in knowledge, skills, and attitudes that participants feel after participating in the training.
