Abstract

ABSTRAK: Penelitian ini dilatar belakangi oleh permasalahan yang ditemukan oleh peneliti terkait dengan pembelajaran IPS di sekolah, terutama pada sumber belajar yang sering digunakan hanya meliputi buku sekolah elektronik, lembar kerja peserta didik dan buku cetak yang ada di perpustakaan. Peneliti merasa sumber belajar yang digunakan kurang bervariasi.Adapun tujuan dari penelitian ini yaitu untuk memaparkan bagaimana pengembangan home industry kerajinan eceng gondok dimanfaatkan sebagai sumber pembelajaran IPS dapat diterapkan pada peserta didik ditingkat sekolah menengah pertama. Rumusan masalah dalam penelitian ini difokuskan kepada empat hal, yaitu; pertama home industry kerajinan eceng gondok, kedua kerajinan eceng gondok terhadap ekonomi kreatif masyarakat desa Cihampelas, ketiga internalisasi home industri kerajinan eceng gondok sebagai sumber belajar IPS, keempat kendala dan solusi home industri kerajinan eceng gondok dalam ekonomi kreatif masyarakat sebagai sumber belajar IPS. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif. Lokasi penelitian bertempat di Desa Cihampelas. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa proses internalisasi home industry kerajinan eceng gondok sebagai sumber belajar berbasis lingkungan dilakukan dengan cara guru mata pelajaran IPS melakukan analisis SK dan KD terlebih dahulu sebelum melakukan kegiatan kunjungan. Pada kelas IX KD 3.3 materi pengembangan ekonomi kreatif berdasarkan potensi wilayah untuk kesejahteraan masyarakat, Materi ini dapat dikaitkan di lingkungan sekitar salah satunya di Desa Cihampelas tentang pemanfaatan kerajinan eceng gondok yang terdapat di aliran waduk saguling sebagai ekonmi kreatif masyarakat. Hal ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui relevansi dari kegiatan yang akan dilaksanakan dengan adanya home industry kerajinan eceng gondok di Desa Cihampelas. ABSTRACT: This research is motivated by the problems found by researchers related to social studies learning in schools, especially on learning resources that are often used only include electronic school books, student worksheets and printed books in the library. The researcher feels that the learning resources used are less varied. The purpose of this research is to explain how the development of the home industry for water hyacinth crafts is used as a social studies learning resource that can be applied to students at the junior high school level. The formulation of the problem in this research is focused on four things, namely; first, home industry for water hyacinth crafts, second for water hyacinth crafts for the creative economy of the Cihampelas village community, third for internalizing the home industry for water hyacinth crafts as a source of social studies learning, the four constraints and solutions for the home industry for water hyacinth crafts in the community's creative economy as a source of social studies learning. This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach. The research location is in Cihampelas Village. The results of this study indicate that the process of internalizing the water hyacinth craft home industry as an environment-based learning resource is carried out by means of social studies subject teachers to analyze SK and KD first before carrying out visiting activities. In class IX KD 3.3 creative economy development material based on regional potential for community welfare, this material can be related in the surrounding environment, one of which is in Cihampelas Village about the use of water hyacinth crafts found in the Saguling reservoir flow as the community's creative economy. This was done to determine the relevance of the activities to be carried out with the existence of a water hyacinth home industry in Cihampelas Village.
