Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan bagaimana mana implementasi pengelolaan arsip statis di lingkungan universitas Pendidikan Indonesia, hambatan yang dihadapi dan upaya untuk mengatasi hambatan yang ada. Metode yang dilakukan dalam penelitian ini adalah penelitian deskriptif kualitatif yang bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan dan memberikan gambaran keadaan alamiah terhadap penelitian yang terjadi dilapangan. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan cara observasi, wawancara dan studi dokumentasi. Pemilihan informan dilakukan dengan memilih pegawai (arsiparis) yang terlibat langsung dalam pengolahan arsip statis , agar informasi yang didapatkan sesuai dengan tujuan penelitian. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, dapat diketahui bahwa pengelolaan arsip statis di arsip Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia belum optimal, dikarenakan terdapat faktor penghambat dalam pengelolaan arsip statis, yaitu SDM dan sarana prasarana. Secara keseluruhan kegiatan pengelolaan arsip statis di Arsip Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia sudah sesuai dengan kaidah-kaidah yang berlaku. Kata Kunci: Arsip Statis, Pengelolaan Arsip Statis Universitas This study aims to describe how the implementation of archive management in the Indonesian Education university environment, the obstacles faced and efforts to overcome the existing obstacles. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative research which aims to describe and provide an overview of the natural state of research that occurs in the field. Data collection techniques were carried out by means of observation, interviews and documentation studies. The selection of informants is done by selecting employees (archivists) who are directly involved in the processing of static archives, so that the information obtained is in accordance with the research objectives. Based on the results of the study, it can be seen that the management of static archives in the archives of the Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia is not optimal, because there are inhibiting factors in the management of static archives, namely human resources and infrastructure. Overall, the static archive management activities at the University of Pendidikan Indonesia Archives are in accordance with the applicable rules.
