Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menginterpretasi makna dalam beberapa lirik lagu populer Indonesia dengan teori Roland Barthes. Makna yang dianalisis yaitu makna denotasi, makna konotasi, dan makna mitos. Kemudian, hasil analisis dijadikan rancangan alternatif bahan ajar puisi di SMA. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah deskriptif kualitatif. Data yang digunakan yaitu lirik lagu yang terdapat pada judul lagu Hati-hati di Jalan (Tulus), Kau Rumahku (Raissa Anggiani), Bertaut (Nadin Amizah), Sorai (Nadin Amizah), dan Runtuh (Fiersa Besari dan Feby Putri). Berdasarkan analisis pada lima lirik lagu populer Indonesia, diperoleh temuan: (1) Penulis lirik lagu menggunakan diksi yang bersifat denotatif dan konotatif di setiap lagu yang diciptakannya. (2) Lirik lagu memiliki karakteristik kebahasaan yang sama seperti puisi. (4) Diksi pada lirik lagu menggunakan gaya bahasa yang mengandung makna kias atau bersifat konotatif. (5) Lirik lagu populer Indonesia membahas realitas kehidupan sosial yang terjadi di masyarakat. (6) Tema yang digunakan penulis lirik lagu populer Indonesia berkaitan dengan sesuatu yang sedang hangat diperbincangkan. Berdasarkan temuan dari hasil analisis interpretasi makna disusunlah rancangan alternatif bahan ajar puisi di SMA yang diwujudkan dalam bentuk modul pembelajaran. Hasil penelitian dapat dijadikan acuan agar memudahkan siswa dalam mengidentifikasi makna puisi. "Interpretation of the Meaning of Indonesian Popular Song Lyrics as an Alternative Design of Poetry Teaching Materials in High School". Under the guidance of my lecturer I: Dr. H. Ma'mur Saadie, M.Pd. and second lecturer: Drs. Encep Kusumah, M.Pd. This study aims to interpret the meaning of several Indonesian popular song lyrics using Roland Barthes' theory. The meanings analyzed are denotative meaning, connotative meaning, and mythical meaning. Then, the results of the analysis are used as an alternative design for poetry teaching materials in high school. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative. The data used are the lyrics of the song contained in the song title Hatihati di Jalan (Tulus), You are My Home (Raissa Anggiani), Bertaut (Nadin Amizah), Sorai (Nadin Amizah), and Runtuh (Fiersa Besari and Feby Putri). Based on the analysis of five popular Indonesian song lyrics, the findings are as follows: (1) The song lyricist uses denotative and connotative diction in every song he creates. (2) Song lyrics have the same linguistic characteristics as poetry. (4) Diction in song lyrics uses language styles that contain figurative or connotative meanings. (5) The lyrics of Indonesian popular songs discuss the reality of social life that occurs in society. (6) The theme used by the lyricist of Indonesian popular songs is related to something that is currently being discussed. Based on the findings from the analysis of the interpretation of meaning, an alternative design for poetry teaching materials in high school was drawn up in the form of a learning module. The results of the study can be used as a reference to make it easier for students to identify the meaning of poetry.
