Abstract

ABSTRAK Perkembangan game online saat ini berkembang pesat dan dapat diakses oleh berbagai kalangan, baik anak-anak bahkan orang dewasa pun dapat memainkan game online tersebut. Dampak yang ditimbulkan dari bermain game online mulai dari yang positif hingga negatif masih kurang dipahami oleh siswa. Dampak game online terhadap siswa dikhawatirkan akan mempengaruhi perkembangan siswa di sekolah, diharapkan guru PAI dapat berperan dalam pembelajaran melalui upaya yang dapat dilakukan di sekolah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peran guru PAI dalam menyikapi dampak game online terhadap akhlak siswa melalui program intrakurikuler, mengetahui peran guru PAI dalam menyikapi dampak game online terhadap akhlak siswa melalui program kokurikuler, dan mengetahui peran guru PAI dalam menyikapi dampak game online terhadap akhlak siswa melalui program ekstrakurikuler. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif. Pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik wawancara, dokumentasi dan triangulasi. Peneliti menemukan bahwa ketika siswa bermain game online, guru PAI berpesan sebagai pembimbing, demonstrator, inisiator sangat diperlukan untuk mengingatkan, menasehati, menegur peserta didik dalam bermain game online. Hal itupun bisa didukung apabila diadakannya kegiatan ekstrakurikuler esport di sekolah dengan pertimbangan yang matang, kebijakan yang sesuai dan pengawasan yang sudah siap. ABSTRACT The development of online games is currently growing rapidly and can be accessed by various groups, both children and even adults can play these online games. The impact of playing online games ranging from positive to negative is still poorly understood by students. The impact of online games on students is feared to affect student development at school, it is hoped that the religion teacher can play a role in learning through efforts that can be made at school. This study aims to determine the role of religion teachers in responding to the impact of online games on students' morals through intracurricular programs, knowing the role of religion teachers in responding to the impact of online games on students' morals through co-curricular programs, and knowing the role of religion teachers in addressing the impact of online games on students' morals through extracurricular program. This study uses a qualitative approach with a descriptive method. Collecting data using interview techniques, documentation and triangulation. The researcher found that when students played online games, the religion teacher advised them as mentors, demonstrators, and initiators to remind, advise, and reprimand students in playing online games. Even that can be supported if esports extracurricular activities are held in schools with careful consideration, appropriate policies and ready supervision.
